So I've had my Provari for a few weeks now and I'm loving it for the most part. However, my button seems to be a bit under sensitive when I press it. When I press it, sometimes it doesn't activate and I have to apply a tad more pressure, or it will activate but slightly less pressure will turn it off even though the button is still pressed.

I may just be nit-picking but it can be bothersome at times when I'm doing something can can't look at the button to make sure it's on, like driving, and I don't want to have to mash down on the button.

Does that happen to anyone else's Provari?

I think I may know what you're talking about, I just aim for the center of the button with a straight down firm (but not too firm) push. I was being too sensitive/lax in regards to my button pressing early on and had early cut offs or not firing because I thought it was fragile or ultra sensitive and wasn't giving it a solid press. Other than that, not sure.

Not me, mine seems to activate effortlessly, it would annoy me if I had to apply too much pressure, I generally just thumb it with the side of my thumb, great while driving.

It seems to activate with less pressure than a tornado (ego), although without the click.

I hope this is the expected button behaviour as I do intend to get a backup and would ideally like it to work the same :)

I guess there are always going to be variations, If its problematic you could always ask for a replacement, they seem very good in that regard although I personally would be unlikely to complain unless it was clearly faulty or troublesome to use.

Hi belialNZ!

Now that you mention "thumb it" I never had my ProVari stop firing while thumbing it, So again, it still goes back to "lazy finger".

And I wouldn't want the button on the ProVari changed either!

:2c:

Thanks!

On a slightly similar topic...does anyone have this same scenario?

My Provape 18650 battery...when I give the lower portion of the Provari a slightly rough tap, just above the extension cap, I can hear the battery hitting the side of the provari's wall. Is this normal? Just wondering because I dropped mine about twice so far and didn't initially notice it.
