Firmware update

I have the ikonn 220. Went to do an update plugged in mod, went to site, went to support, then software, clicked on my mod hit download firmware v1.06 downloaded it extracted files. eleaf box came up..device name..says none device..beside firmware is blank. Only option it gives me is exit. Any suggestions. Thanks.

My suggestion ? Don't do the update lol, i've only done one once because it updated the UI on an older mod of mine, besides that or if you encounter an error and you're forced to update there's no real reason to update your mods.

I have update a couple of my mods. My issue is that I use Mac and most of the firmware updates must be ran in Windows. I am a believer in updates on electronics due to the fact of either fixing an issue or an improvement.

Did you try to unplug the mod, start the update software and only then replug the mod? Are there instructions and did you read them? Sometimes batteries need to be removed, sometimes firebutton has to be pressed before connecting USB etc

Me too. But I'm also a follower of the "let the schmucks update and detect the errors first, I'll use the patch released afterwards" religion

Hi and welcome. FWIW, I never do a firmware update on a mod that's still working.

For example you can use Arctic Fox firmware and update.

I update all my mods like Eviс,Gen3 and many others with ArcticFox Firmware.
