First 24 hrs with Intellicig Evolution

Hi Everyone! Just thought tell you about my experience so far 24 hrs+ with a Intellicig Evolution. I bought the sample first with no charger then decided (with help off this forum) to get another kit with usb charger and high nic cartridges (smoke 20+ a day usually) which arrived yesterday. (very fast service from intellicig!) I started using the E cig about 4pm, and didn`t have the urge for a normal cig for rest of night! was on early shift this morning 2am and on waking found needed a normal cig to satisfy craving! From then on have used E cig most of today with 2nd battery still going up to now!, and only having normal 4 cigs all day (crave real fags after meals and with a brew finding at moment but not really enjoying them!) It weird how rest of time not wanting normal cigs without even trying! think it helps because of way E cigs work ie mimicking what you do with a normal cigarette? will update in a couple of days see how am doing! I have also bought a wicked platinum (just couldn`t resist it!!!) but unfortunately that hasn`t arrived in time for christmas so 1 mark off for not as quick as intellicigs service haha! will report on that when tried it! finally a happy christmas to all on this fine forum!

I had simular experience when I started e-cigs with a meal & a brew but cut the real fags (known here somtimes as analogue cigs) hehe.
Stuck with it & was analogue cigs free after two weeks.
Sounds like you bought good e-cigs from good suppliers.

keep us informed, I like the reviews the Intellicig Evolution is getting and am thinkg it may be my next purchase.

Currently using DSE901 mini and analogue cigs free for two months.

Hey Mufftrix .... i have just done the same as you pretty much to the letter. Got my 901 last night in the mail when i got home from work. In around 24 hours i have smoked 4 analogues. When i got up, after eating, and one was just a habit one, didn't really crave it. I was working outside in 2f temp moving snow so didn't think it would be a good idea to pull the ecig out in that temp.

I'm thinking i am going to stock up on juice in the next week and plan to drop the analogues for good on new year. Start 2009 smoke free!!

Would say battery`s lasting half a day of use 8-10hrs at a guess so not bad always have spare charged and ready!

My second day and had analogue cig first thing in morning (actually off work today!) and just had second one and only smoked half tastes horrid after E cig but still craving them with brew etc but after 20+ a day to only have 2 by 1pm is amazing for me so going to try tomorrow for fully digital day haha! (have fresh pack of ten cigs sealed in work bag just in case of electrical failure !) Am finding carts supplied to be lasting quite a few hours and going through 3/4 a day so probably 4-5 cigs worth each cartridge? It a learning curve deciding when they ready to change but when not much vapour or taste fades am changing them! Am wanting to try different flavours already especially coffee flavour ! I can see that rather than just cutting down or stopping normal smoking how it becomes a hobby (obsession haha!) in it`s self!!!
will update after work tomorrow! (just waiting for my platinum wicked to get here at weekend hopefully then will let you know how that performs!)

when i first got my 2 black evos. neither of the batteries were charged. after a very quick 10 min usb charge. one battery ran for around 8 hours and the other just 2 min. john asked me to put the 2 min battery on the charger for 4 hours and it should kick it up to full operation. after charging the second battery now lasts for only 2 hours. i am sure john will replace it for me. i will charge it a few more times before i hit him up for a new one. john also sent me extra white evo atomizer with my order. thanks john.

i am a heavy vaper and the carts last me a very long time, however they dont provide me with enough vapor regularly. so i top my carts off with vapornine carolina tobacco ejiuce which tastes exactly like the evo juice. i get whopping vapor and throat hit for the first half of the cart. so i find myself refilling the carts with the carolina at night and top em off in the am before my day. and sometimes i will top off again before the cart dries up. the vapor nine bottle has a long thin needle like dropper that goes right down below the filter in the cart for great topping off. i find keeping the cig in my holder upside down keeps the juice in the cart and out of the atomier.

one huge problem with the evo is that any air movement over the blue led end of the battery turns it on. the first day i had in in the holder in my car with the windows down i found i was burning up the atomizer just from the wind. i need to find a clear plastic cap to cover the blue light end.

overall the evo is the most reliable consistant and convenient way to vape. prices are not too bad either. i have ordered some riskee yuice from puresmoker.com.

if anyone has any questions about maintaining and filling the evo you must check out the video posts from igetcha. he has got it down to a super science.
