I've gone through many evolutions...a wide spectrum from cigalikes to VV and all over. I started with Safe Cig. Got me off the smokes...but I moved on within a month or so. To answer the second part of your question...my current favorites are the Smoktech telescope mechanical mod, the Joyetech eGo T Mod and for stealth, the 3.7 Gripper.

In the KR808 type equipment I like the Volt X2.

Oh yeah...current preferred e-juice delivery is from EMSCCs...2ohm, mostly. Sometimes alternate with EMSCC 1.7 ohm.

I found this place before I started vaping so I started with eGo Twists and Stardusts. Didn't particularly care for those. Got some Mini Vivi Novas which did quite well, but the flavor is a bit muted for me probably because I vape VG. They do seem really reliable and easy to maintain, though. Tried some Kanger T2s (leaking) and T3s (dry hits and battery fit issues). I really liked the flavor on both of them and the T3s are SO easy to fill. This makes me a bit sad.

I'm playing with the Pheonix XL CE3 bottom coils today and they're doing quite well. Very clean, full flavor. I might have been a little intimidated by the necessity for syringes when I first started, but it really is pretty easy. I figure they're cheap enough, I can just fill a bunch and concentrate my cleaning on one or two days a week. The capacity is about 1ml, so I'm guessing most vapers would need to adopt that sort of strategy to have this work. 1ml isn't enough to get most vapers through the day.

I did also just receive a Splitfire and a regular Vivi Nova, but I haven't tried them yet. I'm sure the big tanks are going to look funny on my Twist, but I wanted to see if increased capacity and/or increased wicks would have a better effect on flavor production.

I started with Green Smokes which got my off a 2+ pack a day cigarette habit from my first vape. The Green Smoke cig-alikes worked well and produced a very respectable vape for a cig-alike. The Absolute, Red and Vanilla flavors in the pre-filled cartomizers were all excellent. Unfortunately, the Green Smoke prices are extremely high and keeping the batteries charged drove me batty in only a few days time.

I ordered a Twist and Vivi Nova after a week and was thrilled to discover that, as well as having acceptable battery life, the difference in the quality of the vaping experience between cig-alikes and the Twists/Vivi Novas was like night and day. I've been sampling a ton of juices and the variable voltage has been enormously helpful in finding the sweet spot for each one.

Since then I've moved on from the Vivi Novas to using Kanger M3 clearomizers for everything but my all day vape and plastic-unfriendly juices that need the Vivi Nova anodized aluminum tubes. The M3s only have a 1 ml. capacity, need a syringe or needle-tipped bottle to fill, don't have a rebuildable atty and take forever to dry after rinsing. Despite this, the clear, non-muted taste and vapor production is so similar to dripping that I will continue to use the M3s until something with the taste/vapor but without the disadvantages comes along.

my first one was in 10/2011 some knock off kr808 style that had those punch through foil cartridge which only lasted a month, then my boss gave me his Vapor Junction E-Power mod.... after 4 months the switch died on me and i couldn't find a replacement. so then i got a ego c twist 1000mah. then 9/2012 my wife bought me a provari v2 with cap and now 10/2012 i got my first mechanical ihybrid... and the ihybid is giving my provari a good run for the money as far as my favorite!!!!

About a year agoStarted with one of those gas station ones (njoy?)didn't know any better, but I was looking for something to supplement my 2 pack/day habit.didnt find those all that njoyable, so I tried a blu disposable and actually liked it. That disposable lasted all day tasted the same start to finish. i loved it. got me hook line sinker, so I bought the kit...it was just...different from the disposable.lucky if the battery lasted 2 hrs if it would even charge right.and the flavor tasted"burnt" after several puffs. Was still smoking "analogs"-would actually get fed up with the blu and switch to analog. Finally gave up after a few months and went back entirely to analog.
A few months ago I discovered joyetch in a local head shop.. I got the ego starter kit and fell in love.i mean head over heals I'm gonna grow and grow old with my ego. Just isn't just infatuation. I know this because I haven't even thought about "cheating".
So I now use the ego with CE5+/V3/stardust (point is, I use the changeable clearomizer) and haven't picked up an analog since
I've used dekang, halo,Johnson creek-I've liked them all so far.not into the spicy clove flavors
