This was why I was looking at the Lavatube as a "middle ground" to the Provari. But as many others have said in this thread, I'll more than likely end up with a Provari at some point anyways so why wait? I've got the disposable income right now. My only thing would be that I can't hold it in my hand first. This was okay with the Twists since the investment was miniscule, but the Provari is hefty investment.

It is a hefty investment. Agreed. It didn't take me as long as some others to finally take the plunge for one, but I did waffle over the decision. Fact is, if you read much on the forums here about the Provari, there will be very few owners of one who have been disappointed in their purchase. Quite the opposite. Most wonder why they waited so long to get one. Most owners are so happy with their purchase that they likely appear like snobs and have been called Provari fanboys. Well, as the popular reviewer has said, "I have one, I have held one. I have vaped one and all I can say is, now I get it."

A PBusardo Review - The Provari V2 - Provape - YouTube

I actually watched this entire review last week. It started my thought process on a new PV. He is quite the convincing and thorough gentleman.

So the next question is.... For the Provari: 3 18650 batteries and an extension cap ($235.70) or 4 18490 batteries ($220.90)? I think, from what I've seen, a lot of other PVs use 18650 batteries so it seems like I'd be better off getting the three and an extension cap just so I have batteries that will work with other mods I may get in the future.

Hello ECF!

Over the past month, I have much enjoyed my vaping experience. I love my eGo-C Twists. They are reliable and provide me with a good vape. However, I am thinking it might be time for a slight upgrade. (Not Provari territory, at least not quite yet!) I would like to stick to a VV Battery. They just seem like the way to go.

So... I guess the point of this is to ask; What would you say is a good middle ground between the eGo-C Twist and a Provari. What is going to take my vaping experience up a couple notches? I've heard great things about the Lavatube. Any opinions on this bad boy? I will likely (if I order said setup) add two batteries to my order to ensure I'm never without the ability to vape. Honestly though, it's the same thing as when I was starting up. There is a lot of information to be covered as I try to progress from an eGo to a better setup.

So, kind people of ECF... Help me one more time, to improve my vaping experience? (I may or may not have cookies)

I sell lavatubes in my shop. If you're in to the variable voltage mods, that would be an "ok" choice if the budget for a provari is still not seeing any daylight. You may also want to try full mechanical mods (mods with no wires). You get the power/voltage based onyour battery's charge

I appreciate the input. It wasn't so much that the Provari isn't in my budget; it's more along the lines of I was hoping to see some form of progression because devices. In my mind, there should be a middle ground device that would improve your experience from an eGo-C Twist.

So something similar to this...

eGo-C Twist (novice) -> (Insert Middle Ground Vape Here) (intermediate) -> Provari (advanced)

Wait, there's a reddit section too?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

http://www.reddit.com/r/electronic_cigarette

This is what I meant by my statement. When I was first getting into e-cigs almost 2 months ago, that subreddit was one of the most helpful places I've been a part of. They helped me refine my orders and gave me so much advice, AND told me about this community.

I have a reg Saber Touch, and I love the size, rugged quality, made in the USA and you can customize them for a unique individualized mechanical mod. Check out there Thread on here Vapor Moon

Yet another "wish I would've known sooner" vapers reporting in.

I started with an eGo-T kit, moved on to a Lavatube, then finally the Provari. I wish I would've skipped the eGo and LT steps :), it is good to have backups though, which is why I just recently ordered a second Provari Mini and Mini DID :2cool:

i'm loving my ego twist as well. doesn't seem like i need much more. however, i am looking around for a new toy myself. i can't justify it, since i'm still kind of new to the vaping thing, but i'm a boy. i can't help myself. my big issue now is finding the right cartomizers and tanks. i've got a bunch of the stardusts laying around, a couple of t2's and i just got a really great 3ml tank from texas select. i've had it for 2 days, and i've already ordered the short cone adapter so my ego twist doesn't look all weird with the tank attached to it and another tank.

Yep, I've got cones and the whole nine yards for my Twists. They are great little device and have served me well over the past couple months.

But the time is now; my Provari v2 order was placed earlier today. I honestly cannot wait for it to arrive. It's like when I first started vaping; I'm excited and giddy. It's like starting all over again and I couldn't be happier!

And on a massive plus side, I will be passing on my Twists to some friends whom wish to start vaping but don't have the ability to right now. That within itself makes my Provari order worth it.
