Hi everyone!

just wanted to let you know that my first batch of diy juice appears to be a success! Samples two of the four 5ml batches I mixed up ane the two I tested are certainle vapable! All 4 are in a hot water steep overnight now... hope to test the other two tomorrow to see if they need more time or not. very simple recipes...im just so elated it worked as well as it did! hopefully tomorrow's samples are also vapable.

all 5ml mixed at 12mg nic.

#1 Earl Grey Tea
#2 Morning Coffee - black
#3 Peachaloupe
#4 Wintergreen

all recipes (if you can call them that) were mixed with EM... Peachaloupe has Lemon juice added also

I just wanted to Thank Everyone here for their help and guidance in getting me started in DIY!

#1 and #4 were very vapable before steeping.

Hi EagleTa2

Congrats on the successful DIY mixes. I wish I had the patience to experiment and do this DIY thing right. I currently have 28 TFA flavors and pretty much stare and wonder what to do with them. You'd figure you would just add some strawberry flavoring to some PG/VG and get a nice strawberry vape. So far I get a hint of strawberry but nothing to brag about.

I do have a bottle of TFA Wintergreen. Care to share your recipe for your #4 very vapable Wintergreen?

Has this been a great spring this year here in the valley or what! Of course I can't get out of yard work with the way to hot excuse.

Thanks

What other fruit flavors do you have? Pinnapple was really good at a straight up 10%

My first batch sucked yesterday... Can you share the percentages you used for your juices?

The key is to start low with very simple mixes to start out with. Start out with a common tobacco flavor such as an RY4 or 555 flavor and add tobacco flavor at about 3% and added flavors at about 1%. Sample and add more as needed

My favorate 555 reciepe

555 6%
Ap 1% (Acetyl Pyrazine) gives it a nutty taste

Let it steep for 3 or 4 days or give it a hot water bath (fill thurmal cup with hot tap water and let it cool to room temp then shake the mix and repeat 2 more times)

Very simple but taste great.

So, as it turns out one of mixes is not very capable yet....the morning coffee one kinda smells bad and tastes worse. I may have mixed it too strong.
It is 2.5% coffee clear TFA and 1% EM. It either needs lots more time to steep, some dilution, or some other serious corrective action.

On to the successes...

Wintergreen. Mixed at 10% and 1% EM. The flavor is there but light and subtle. I might boost the next batch to 15% for my taste...but certainly vapable as is.

Earl Grey mixed at 5% and 1% EM. Good amount of flavor but I might mix next batch at 7.5%. Again, nice vape as it stands.

Peachaloupe- I can't take credit for this one as is. The recipe came from a fellow ecf member "Dunder Mifflin". It is a great vape but I may boost the flavors next time by 3-5%.
Peach 5%
Cantaloupe 7%
EM 1%
Lemon Juice 1%

Thanks for all of the congratulations and encouragement! I'm gonna have a lot of fun with DIY!

THANKS!
Geo

Before you do anything with any of the mixes let them sit 2 weeks or do an express steep (hot water bath). You will be suprized at how the flavors melo and change after a certain period of time passes.

Thanks... Unfortunately I don't think they will be around in 2 weeks... I did the hot water bath though before any decisions were made...

The coffee mix got dumped...it was only 5ml and was horrid. Better to start over...I'm a big believer that you just can't polish a turf ;)

The peachaloupe is vaping nicely and will be gone today... Just going to increase the flavors a bit the next time I mix this flav9r.
I added 5% more flavor to the wintergreen and that took a good vape and made it a lot better..that one is half gone.
The earl grey is vaping nicely as is...may just get a little more flavor in there next time.

Planning another mixing session for tomorrow night...
Strawberry frost, straight pear, straight peach, and maybe a mocha mixture...

This is FUN!
Thanks
Geo
