First Build

Well a couple weeks ago I posted about my debate into getting into rebuilding, specifically rda's. I'm happy to say I bought my first rda (dark horse) and completed my first build.

In all honesty it was fairly easy. Used 24g kanthal, 7 wraps, dual coil, ended up at .4 ohms and wow what a taste. It was a cool experience and my local vape shop even walked me through the build to ensure it was done correctly and safely.

I walked out with building supplies and a ohm meter.

Woo-Hoo!! I have a larger computer desk and I use it to build/maintain. Because I am conscious of spilling e-juice out of a RDA, I only use them with my mech there. Right now it is Red headed .... from Good life and Blueberry from Hoosiers. TV for football is viewable, too.

It is my spot.

I'm jealous brother, still working on clearing out a spot. I ended up using the kitchen table when I did my own solo build

Promise, it wasn't bad, obviously it still commands respect, but it was fairly easy and straight forward. Wish ya luck when you get your supplies.

Congrats mate! Every time I see these stories I vicariously relive popping my first-coil cherry -- that's a great feeling for such a simple thing. Keep having fun and being safe with it, sounds like you have a decent shop around.

congrats! once i got really comfortable building coils i started looking at my wicking. its a continuous learning curve. good luck.

Congrats on your first build! Completed my first build about 2 weeks ago and still love it and use it today. May change it up once I get my work area cleared out lol. Keep us posted on the other stuff you end up building!

I used to rebuild my protank heads, and a few weeks ago I finally got 2 rda's and some rta's and I'm still running single coils.
I guess I did try to do a dual coil, but quite frankly it's too much trouble unless I get a deck where I don't have to try to get two coils to share the same hole/screw on the positive side.
