Dual parallel coil build 1 side is 24 gauge menthol the other is 28 gauge g platt since I have very tiny post holes in the trident rda so the 24 gauge is mounted to the post screw mounts and the g platt is ran through the far right post screw mount and middle post hole. . . She fires like a dream since the thinner g platt fires as fast as the kanthol

R1 x R2 / (R1 + R2) = the resistance.

It all comes out in the average. The lower ohm coil will get more current flow than the higher one, but both get the same voltage drop even with the difference in resistance. The battery just sees the combined resistance of the two. The one with the lowest resistance will produce more heat, but the vapor combines and the sum of the two vapor trails comes out the drip tip. It's all good.

Awesome build bro! Is the Trident your first RDA? That's crazy because it was mine as well, to me, it was pretty hard to build on man! Those little slots for the wire are tricky to hold just right while putting the little post cape on. I tip my hat to you sir for building a parallel in'er lol.

If your looking for a really capable dripper in the future for post holes, I recommend the Brass Monkee. It has dual positive posts, which makes basically any build a breeze. That was my second dripper, and that's when I really got into making really pretty coils (because it was so easy :p.).

Isn't Gplat amazing? I have the 22ga "elite" and every build I've made with has been epic. I'm pretty sure 28ga gplat, and 24ga kanthal have about the same ohm rating, so nice pairing. If your having problems with caramelizing cotton, try and get it in as loose (and as less as possible) as possible while still touching the inner rim of the coils, if it's too tight it'll just burn easier, and taste like cotton.

Again awesome build brother, god knows parallels are nearly impossible to get perfect. If you were wondering what the brass monkee deck looks like here's a pic. They even have a nice clone out if you'd rather save some cash, this is the authentic below:

Gotta agree with tree on that one, having a dual positive post hole does help a ton for some builds(especially parallels). The only build I can see it being a negative would be for a sleeper coil type setup which uses just one strand of wire for dual coils, but I suppose you could actually do quads in one with two sleeper coils in there and only two strands of wire...

Edit: Oh crap, now I have to go build that!
