I kind of had the same thing happen to me. I think it has something to do with the straight nicotine thing, made me feel sick and have a stomach ache, but I stuck with it.

I don't know how you are transitioning, but for me, I still smoked analogs at first (because of the sick feeling) and it really helped. I also have a 510, and after a week and a half, I am now completely off analogs and no more sick feeling. You have to remember that even after a few hours of no analogs, your body already starts to go into withdrawal, not only from nicotine, but all the other 500 chemicals in analogs.

Hang in there! Just smoke analogs when you feel like it, and soon you will notice you will want them less and less. At least for me, it made the switch so much easier.:thumb:

I just got my 510 in the mail today and i have to say its amazing! The only problem is... it makes my stomach hurt after a couple hits and makes me feel like i need to take a dump. Is this normal or is something wrong?

Drink plenty of extra water, keep hands & face rinsed and juice free - your system will flush all the real cig crap that it has been taking in and hopefully things will settle down.

Possibly you will have an intolerence to something, PG maybe. There are threads already on ECF with lists of common problems that will advise.

I've had all kinds of weird things going on - I think some of it is as Jim D notes, withdrawals and changes in what I'm giving my body. I'm only 4 weeks or so into this so I don't have all my tickets punched yet, but so far so good.

The first few times I got the juice backwashing into my mouth, I figured what the heck and swallowed it. I would suggest - don't do that, Grasshopper. I kept getting queasy feelings like I was going to throw up, for a couple hours after.

I've got some VG stuff coming, to compare the difference. I do think at this point the contact with juice should be limited as much as possible, if I get it on my hands, etc. I wash it off immediately. God knows, I've put some bad things in my system over the years, but at this point I think He figures I need to pull some of the weight now myself - I'm not bullet proof anymore. :) Of that, I have no doubt.

As noted by others, my bod's starting to settle down and it seems to be finding a balance.

Best wishes for success! and a brighter tomorrow!

Ive been vaping for 2 weeks now. At first i felt some mild irratation in my stomach. It wassnt like a i want to throw up feeling, it was just a little unsetteled. Your body needs to adapt to the PG. Your throat and sinus's will likely dry out at first as well, drink lots of fluids, this will pass.

I found it does get better, some people do seem to get this and others dont. It doesnt mean you are allergic to PG, if you were allergic YOU WOULD KNOW! :p

umm thats about it. Stick with it for at least a week and a bit. If anything is too uncomfortable stop and see a doctor.

Oh yeah i do fart a lot more sice ive started vaping.

Yeah, bad idea to swallow this stuff.
Anybody that has ever chewed tobacco can certainly vouch for that.

Yeah, I used to be indestructible when I was younger.
Somewhere along the way I became just another mere mortal.

I really hated it when that happened.

I had headaches and nausea for about two days when I started about a week ago. then I had to deal with a sore throat. Now I'm buying higher nicotine e-juice and cutting it with VG it's alot smother on my throat. Also you could try Totally Wicked there e-juice is already mixed 65% pg 20% vg and it's pretty smooth to me.
