Vaping making me sick?

I havent gotten sick at all, aside from the first day that we got a big juice order in and decided to try them all in one day! Other than that, things have been fine, I have however broken out a little bit around my mouth, which i guess is normal from what I read, something about the PG/VG in the juices. Hopefully that goes away soon! I never break out, so it is freaking me out!

What are you vaping?
I would would suggest a high Vg smooth flavour someone here will have a good suggestion.
No menthol or astringent dry
Not to high a nic level 18 has been heap enough for me and kill the crave with frequency of vapes.

I've been using liquid from 'Totally wicked'. Virginia and/or blackcurrant, both 18mg. But I'm going to get some 12mg today in menthol!
I can't see anywhere on the bottle that says if it is vg or pg, as I have heard they can affect people differently..

It's prob 100% pg. a lot of people including my self cannot vape 100% pg. gives me a heavy feeling in my chest. Also if you over vape it also happens. Great like a smoke, vape when you would normally smoke. I think totally wicked juice is 100% pg. they do this because it makes te
The juice thin and will wick well with anything really. I reccomend a 50/50 mix of vg/pg. try not to chain vape too much. Lots of juice vendors besides totally wicked. You get to pick your vg/pg ratio.

Sorry about your issues.
"As a guide, our premixed e-liquids contain a mixture of 80% Propylene Glycol and 20% Glycerine."
Facts about E-Liquid | E Fluid
Some do have a sensitivity to PG. I'd also suggest trying a 50/ 50 PG/ VG ratio. Realize also some sweeteners can increase the issues of IBS.
I have a very good friend/ convert who also has IBS. After he began vaping he also felt worse. His GP told him it was prolly anxiety from the withdrawal of smoking. Within a week things got worse for him because he wasn't hydrating. He began hydrating and now, one year later, is doing fine and his IBS has greatly improved. He avoids all juices that contain any form of sweetener as that seems to be a trigger of his IBS.
Vaping is extremely dehydrating as PG and VG are hygroscopic- they trap the moisture in our bodies and thus the vapor. On it's own more than 4 cups of java is dehydrating also. I drink at least 1 1/2 liters of water per day.
Best of Luck.

You're welcome. Realize I am NOT a Dr. but have a degree in a related field. I always strongly recommend new vapers pay a visit to their GP and inform them of their vape prog...doesn't really matter whether they're supportive or not but we never know when or where we'll get some pertinent info and/ or support. In my experience most GPs are deliriously happy to hear their client has quit smoking.
Wishing you the Very Best of Luck.

I have IBS too and vaping definitely messes with my stomach sometimes. For me the solution was to manage my anxiety level. You can try different nic levels and combos of pg/vg to see if that helps. Diet changes may also help. I got headaches when I first started vaping too. I thought maybe it was the pg but it wasn't. The headaches stopped after a while even without increasing my water intake. Although it's a good idea to increase your water anyway lol. Hope you feel better soon. Good luck!

I have had people who have been allergic to the PG in the liquid. My suggestion is to try an ALL NATURAL liquid that is made from 100% kosher certified VG. Natural flavoring with little to no alcohol and that would be the purest vape you could get. If that works, then you could introduce a little PG and see if that changed anything. Vaping has caused people to experience slight 'pain' as the tar and other junk breaks away from the walls of their lungs. Once the initial newness of vaping wears off you feel GREAT and you can then understand what 'chemicals' in your liquid you don't like. Also, your body goes into slight shock once you take away its cocktail of deadly chemicals it has grown accustom to. Its all for the better tho! Welcome to the wonderful world of vaping and DONT GIVE UP!!!! :) :)

Even though you not completely stopped nicotine consumption . The other 3999 carcinogens that were in the cigarettes you are going to have to let your body adjust itself . Now that you are going to be living a healthier life . It's worth a little pain for a few days . :) stick with it and Good luck . I am 4 months cigarette free , 20 + years of smoking .
