First DIY E-juices

Took the plunge and made our first e-juices. Very first one we mixed up was a 70v30p 11mg nic flavorless 30ml. If we don't like it, we have at the very least a base to start from. Second was a Green Apple, free flavoring from NicVape. 50v50p 11mg Green Apple at recommended 10% flavoring 10ml. Last was Cinnamon Red Hot from Flavor's Apprentice. It's an alcohol base and gave me the most pause. However, marching onward, went with a 70v30p 11mg 10% flavoring 10ml. We went with 10% since that was about the average for non-concentrated flavors even though this is alcohol based. We used ejuice Me Up for the calculations on all three. As I type this out, we have them sitting in an ultrasonic cleaner with heat on going through their second cycle.

My first error was ordering too much flavoring. Blasphemous, I know. My cotton journey all over again. Lol on me. Second error, not enough syringes. Easily remedied by cleaning with cheap vodka. The looks when I bought that at the store. I chuckled.

Wish us luck. If anyone is interested going down this road, take the plunge. Be careful with the nicotine and the rest is good to go. Use as clean as an environment as possible and have a vape on hand. No reason to stress.

happy vaping

Congrats on your first venture into DIY, it's easy and fun. I just keep a mug of hot water handy to clean my syringed that I use for flavorings, a few draws in and out is all it takes, and a tissue to wipe the outside down.

For new flavors I'm not familiar with, I'll start at 5% or less, as it's easier to add more than try to dilute one that's too strong. You can taste them before steeping of any kind, some flavors are actually better fresh, unsteeped.

Stop by the DIY Forum section, lots of great info and discussions.
