I did some reading and research and learned how to dry burn these things. I did every step correctly (as far as I know) - The one thing I am concerned about is that the top wicks are now gone on the coil I tested this on. When I opened it up, the top wicks (I think they are the flavor wicks?) were nothing more than a few shreds of material. As I took them out, they fell apart and are now gone. I dry burned it correctly and everything looks clean now. My question is - Do I need to replace the top wicks? If it isn't necessary I won't bother. If I do need to replace them, can I use a slice of the wick from one of my other tanks that I have not used? Dry burning definitely helped though - The bottom wick looks so much cleaner already.

A local shop sells Pro tank mini 2 coils for $1.50 - So I may have to go with that

I don't think you need them. Try it without them and you might find your vapor production is a little better. Just make sure there's not a gap on the sides that the liquid can flow into, or you might get a little flooding.

You can definitely replace them with a slice of wick if you liked it better before.

Maybe. I do not like to call them flavorwicks because to me they don't enhance the flavor. The more or less help with leaking. You can try without but my guess is it will leak unless you use 100% VG.

Yes you can take a piece of wick and place it there. I use silica, cotton yarn and cotton.

I would give it a rinse after the dry burn. Some don't but I always do because when I don't I get some nasty char taste.
