first dry hit, ugh

Oh my friggin God! Nasty! Today I took a big old hit & got the most awful, full on, make you choke, make your eyes water, almost vomit dry hit. First time. I've had the tiniest bit of burnt taste now & again over the past year. Nothing that bad. Couldn't figure out why people hated it so much. Thought you were all a bunch of wussies, lol. So I must apologize to my fellow vapers because that was amazingly gross & sickening. I had to lick a cat's bum to get the taste out of my mouth.

Be thankful that it has only happened once. With the equipment we used years ago dry hits were common. What was the cats reaction?

Just guessing but I would think the cat's reaction would be indifference.

LOL, I heard the cat bum comment from a guy at work probably 25 years ago & never forgot it. But he used "that other word" for bum.

I have never had the unpleasant experience of a dry hit just the cooking of the coil taste from letting the tank run to low or dry. I usually notice fast enough to not get a lung full but that alone is enough for me to change out a coil. Really bugs me that I fried a perfectly good coil and should pay closer attention but I cheer myself up thinking how much cigarettes cost me years ago!
