It's a shorty two piece e-cig, 85mm long, cartomizer...maybe an e8?
Yes, that's the one. Last night, poking around on the forum, I found a video review of the eSmoke Sensation Micro and the reviewer showed both that one and the E9. The E9's the older sibling.

Usually similar cartomizer units run ~$55 or so for a kit...not there, though :-/
No kidding. Ok, I was too new at it all -- I imprinted on the silly web site and bought there. I'm trying to forgive myself. (The manufacturer's web site in China kind of puts a lot of U.S. e-cig web sites to shame in terms of the information they provide there.) (Not to mention a more reasonable price.)

Not positive offhand if you can use carts from a 'vapor king'/KR808D-1, etc, or not, but you could at least drip a few drops through the battery end of any liquid of choice to see if it improves the flavor..
Part II of that video review (also here) shows the reviewer adding more juice -- so I was wrong when I assumed before that the cartridge is sealed. I would think there's a limit to how many times it can be done, but I was grateful to see that it can be done. Looks as if it needs to be done pretty carefully.

The comments on primer taste shouldn't apply to two piece units, but not positive on what that model is just yet, it's possible there's a few hits worth of nastiness first.
Believe me, there were
absolutely a few hits of nastiness in all those atomizer+flavor cartridges I used, so far. According to another of the views I watched (link provided on this site), the primer is something that's applied to atomizers. And the E8/E9 and similar products have the atomizers built in to the carts. Wonder what that primer stuff does, anyway...

question - does it taste 'burnt', or just bad?
I've been trying to think how to describe that taste. It had a strange acrid flavor with a long-lasting aftertaste -- kept "coming up" every now and then over the next day (uh, not in some projectile fashion, mind you

. Weird. It did have a 'burnt' quality to it -- but it's very difficult to put into words. I've never tasted anything like it before. Hoping I don't taste it again (thus my silly fantasy about a "Primer-B-Gone" product).
