First hybrid setup on new Igo-L

Heya rebuildable family! Got my Igo-L last week, and have been using a SS wick in it because I hadn't ordered any silica yet.

Welp, today it came in...and I couldn't be more pleased!

28g kanthal @ .7 ohms, 4 strands of 3mm silica with a 3/8" (ish) piece of unoxidized mesh wrapping them together

Good first setup I think! Only problem is trying to get the damned silica back under the cap after taking it off, lol.

I may have to try this when its time to rewick and I have all the same materials as you do lol.

It wicks like a CHAMP and it doesn't leak out of the air hole when 'over' filled. It's great!

I should hope so with all that wick stuffed in there lol. I'm using doubled 3mm silica at .8 ohms and it's pretty good but coils are inconsistant as far as tension and stuff.

I think the mesh solves that, it gives a nice even surface for the wire to be wrapped around. Set it up very easily, took about 10 minutes maybe?

Poked around the coils a few times and they started burning beautifully. Filled her up, stuffed it all in the cap, and done. Vapes perfectly.
