I've been using my Smokeless Image volt kit for about three weeks now and i absolutely love it. The problem is that I also love new gadgets. I was considering buying a good mod but there are so many options and a lot of them are really expensive. I want something that will be great to use around the house, reliable, inexpensive to maintain, safe, preferably comparable with the pile of SI 808 cartos I already have, and give me that better ezperience I'm looking for. I know I might be asking for the impossible, but any help would be greatly appreciated...

I wanted an inexpensive Mod for my first e-cig. One that was reliable, powerful enough to warm a vape all day, and one I didn't have to empty my wallet.

I went for the Riva UNC from Liberty Flights: Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva UNC

22.49 for the battery mod alone, and 42.99 for the kit. Liberty Flights seems to have a forever 20% off coupon that helps.

The 1100mAh Battery hasn't failed me yet and I bet is a good stepping stone from the Smokeless Image volt kit you have. I'm not sure about an adapter for an 808 to 510 though.

You'll need an 808-510 adapter as well if you get a 510 product. I love my little jambox from kalamazoo vapor shop. KVS Mods/Mod Parts It just uses one 14500 battery, I bought 2 trustfires and a trustfire charger....it's 3.7 and it works great, especially with a resurrector carto (smok tech 1.7 lr cartomizer). These are only $25.

If you dont like the button being on top for the RoughStack, I would check out the Bolt. Its similar but has a better button placement. Its a solid PV and CCV sells it for only $37.50 which is dirt cheap.

Also check out the E-Power 14650. Its like the Riva and kGo, but uses non-proprietary batteries like a mod does. E-Power batteries cost $4-5 compared to eGo/Riva/kGo batteries that are $14-20, and the E-Power batteries last alot longer before they need to be replaced. Also everything is replaceable on the E-Power so its cheaper to maintain. The switch, batteries, and tube can all be bought seperately as apposed to the proprietary battery eGo/kGo/Rivas where if one part goes bad you have to replace the whole unit. I love my E-Power and it gives a great vape. The batteries are 1050mah and I get avg a day to a day and a half on one battery. Plus its easy to carry a spare battery bc they are small and if needed unscrew the switch and pop in a fresh battery, so you never really have to worry about getting stuck with a dead battery. Its 3.7V regulated so it gives a great consistant vape. I use the Ressurector cartos in a 3.5ml tank on mine and absolutely love it. Its under $50 bucks too so you dont have to break the bank

Agreed that tanks don't fit on a RoughStack. Even with an adapter I could not get one to fire on it. If you do go Madvapes, they have a 5% coupon good until Friday, it is "newyear". I have been reading the reviews on the bolt, it seems okay, but the materials are not as sturdy as the RoughStack and the threading may not last as long, cross threading. All of that is down in the MV subforum.

If you go with Clouds of Vapor don't forget the 10% off code "bigbuyer" that Chris B just posted. Don't know if the other places listed have discount codes or not.
