Last night I went out dancing with my Wife at a local club and asked the manager if it was OK to vape.
She said as long as it doesn't produce any smoke or anything it's OK.
I kinda lied and said nothing at all.

One security officer did come over later and told me I'm not allowed to smoke in here but I explained to him that it was OK with the manager and he said fine.

I guess there are versions of PVs that produce very little vapor, right?
Just wondering if that is something worth looking into for locations that are a little wary?????

Most people are unaware of this product and I cannot tell you how many came up to me asking me about it.

I turned a lot of people onto cignot.com.
Think it's time to ask for a commision :D

First, it's always good to ask first as you did but it might be better to have explained a little more about how your e-cig works and that it can produce a vapor that can easily be viewed as (look like) smoke.

It's not so much that some PV's vape more than others, there are a few variables that would help provide more or less vapor. The problem is that even though you may have full permission to use your PV, some will still say that it is smoke even if you show it to them. What happens is that other customers will either complain to management or think you are smoking and light up a cigarette themselves thinking it's ok to smoke there. Next thing you know, even though you know it is not smoke/smoking you'll be asked/told not to do it anymore.

If there is any doubt in my mind as to the reaction of others I would simply stealth vape by holding my vape in my lungs for about 10 seconds then slowly exhale. If done properly, you can end up with no visible vapor whatsoever and therefore no problems. You can literally stand right in front of someone and vape without them seeing anything in your exhale.

Bottom line is (at least in any place I've been) the owner/manager can ask you not to do it and even ask you to leave if they want to and you really have no recourse except to do as they tell you. None of us wants to emulate the use of our PV's in a bad way and should basically use simple common sense, a little courtesy and a little dose of discretion when necessary.

Well most clubs have some kind of fog machine just vape near it - I bet they wont notice then.
The only real place outside my home Ive vaped is a supermarket. I tend to hold my PV like a pen, tapping it on my chin, heck I even have a piece of paper as a prop, (ok its my shopping list), and tend to only inhale when I just stuck my head in the freezer and then I shut the door, and expel the vapor. I noticed I had ice/steam breath before I ever vaped so no-one takes any notice.
