I would have kept on taunting him until he hit me, then I would have gotten his ... fired and sued. You would have been doing him a favor by teaching him that customer service was not his calling. Just like the young girl who was tailgating me while we were doing 65, talking on her phone and doing her makeup...lets just say I saw a rock in the road and tapped my breaks...it was ugly, but she learned her lesson...hopefully!

Given that the owner of the store apologized, you might follow it up with him/her, a well-cut suit can imply quite a bit of money and influence. The owner being aware of what e-cigs are, you might try a short presentation of the potential benefits of e-cigs (niche market, potential for future sales, etc.). Unfortunately, some employees of businesses seem to take a belligerent attitude, as if the premises were actually their own (what I call the Idiot Guard Dog mentality). While tempting and immensely satisfying if you win in any physical altercation, goading the jerk into a physical assault really isn't in your best interest.

ok ... I eat at the olive garden alot .... Few times i was in there vaping at the table while waiting .. the waitress said .. "oh is that one of those electric eciggs ... and i said Ya !! she was like thats soo cool .. does it work ? all the questions ya know , and i gave her some cards ...
Then the next week we go back and we are sitting ,,,, im puffin ( we usually sit in the bar area ( hate to wait lol ) having a drink and i see these 2 people lookin at me ...I COULD TELL THEY WERE SMOKERS !!!
So im sure they went and said .... something along the lines like ... hey why are they allowed to smoke and we cant ?? ... well she has an ecigg ... , the guy actually told the manager that it bothered him cause it make him WANT ONE OF HIS and he has to go outside ... HATERSSSSSSSSSSSSSS LOL
But its totally up to whoever is in charge !!! their place their rules ....
Unless you are like me and you ignore them and just take a big puff but exhale under the table ...
Ive learned to be sneaky with my esmoking !!
Happy vaping

That is the best way I've ever seen this sentiment put. We do each have a responsibility to educate those around us and to be respectful when vaping in public...that is, if you want it to ever be accepted mainstream. Look how fast the e-cig world is growing and just hang on. It won't be long before people understand that this is a GOOD thing and welcome us to vape in public. But don't expect that there will ever be 100% acceptance. I've had too many non-smoking friends ask if vaping would be something they could 'get into' that I can see this appealing to kids.

What "kid" has a credit card to purchase from, lets just say a mall kiosk or even wants to wait a week to get a "smoke/vape"?
The prices I've seen tend to run towards $150.
Any teenager can find someone willing to purchase a pack of smokes for them
from any liquor store or corner store for under $10.,why the hell would they spend upwards of $100. just to vape?
This is why the anti-vapers cry of "flavors tempt the children" is full of it!
It just makes no sense whatsoever!
What good parent gives a child unlimited access to a credit card?
I vape everywhere I go in public and have not had a bad reaction from any place yet. :)
I vape at the hospital, restaurants,in a side room at church, stores, malls, bars you name it, I vape in it.
I also use my mods, I was never interested in using a device that looked like a cigarette.
Unless the manager or owner objects I vape and vape proudly.

$150? Perhaps for some of the serious mods, or a very large supply, but most of the starter kits shouldn't be close to that high.

The mall kiosk costs about $40 for a kit and they take cash. I'm not even sure whether they check ID; they probably should, but whether they'd actually stop a kid? I don't know, though I doubt it for some of those guys at least.

On the other hand, kids are quite internet savvy now. You can buy a prepaid credit card (Visa, Mastercard, etc) at almost any gas station, or Walmart. You can use those to pay through paypal or many other online payment systems, and none of them really have any way to validate your age - there's no ID check, no chance of someone ratting you out. It's not more expensive, I think we've already paid less for the ecig supplies than analogs after about 6 weeks.

I don't know that it really is converting kids, but then again I'm not sure why so many new kids pick up analogs now and I could see the electronic ones as seeming more attractive than those at least.
