I am so mad right now! I've ordered a ton of different juices from a lot of different vendors, and have had a big issue with none of them having enough flavor for me. So I decided to try DIY juices. Same issue!!! Added more flavor and still SAME ISSUE!, but with a perfumey taste. So then I received of a bottle of Pineapple shake, half empty in a swap and BAMMM! There it was. Lots of flavor. Funny cause I never thought I would order a Pineapple flavored ejuice. I asked everyone, everywhere why I couldn't taste the juices. I got all kinds of responses from. "It's your taste buds from switching from analogs." or "Your dehydrated from vaping and need to drink more water", and even "You need LR atty's on your KGO." Well after spending a boat load of money and even considering just sticking to tobacco flavored ejuices, which I really don't like but CAN taste, I placed my first order with KBV. All I can say is OMG, WTF!!(both of which are KBV juice flavors), Why didn't anyone tell me about THIS joose? Then I looked on the website again to order more and their sold out of quite a few. So maybe that's why everyone was keeping them a secret. You all just wanted to save it for yourselves. LOL I can not believe what a difference it is. In my opinion any company that tells you their juice NEEDS to steep is basically telling you their juice really has no flavor and you might taste a bit of something if you wait a week. Now I've only had this joose for about an hour or so but I don't think I'll be ordering any more juice from anywhere else again. After steeping it may be better but this is great right out of the mailbox. Thank you so so much for making a really great tasting bunch of juices. I found KBV just in time. Now if I can just find a way to off load some of this other juice I paid all this money for that I can't taste. LOL:vapor:
Now I do feel I should add there were a couple other vendors I felt had a couple other juices I was fond of, and of course I haven't tried every vendor, but I liked every juice from KBV that I've tried so far. All ordered at 70/30 in 18mg

entirely untrue - many juices need time to come together... time is a crucial ingredient for many juices... and many of our smaller vendors can't afford that ingredient... because it would involve being somewhat psychic. KBV does not typically need much time because they heavily flavor their juice... and that's obviously what you need... it would make me sick... The few flavors of KBV I have had would have made a better sauce for ice cream than a vape... (for me)

I have noticed thatK KBV has been a bit of a "savior" to many newbies and vets who want lots of flavor... so when/if you expand into more new companies... pay close attention to what you KBV compadres like...

Glad you found something you like... there are a handful of good companies that flavor their juices heavily enough for you to appreciate...

While this isn't always the case... new vapers typically want stronger flavored juices... and many move towards more mildly flavored ones once they acclimate to vaping...

+++++10 on LT's post. When I first started vaping I needed double flavored juices or companies that made very strong juices. Not anymore. The mix masters that use extracted, organic or natural juices are just genius. Those types of juices need to sit for the full flavor to come around. As your taste buds develope you may find that to be true yourself

Guys I see your point but I buy juice to vape not to wait and vape, I agree KBV has one of the strongest flavs out there and great out of the mailbox and if you want to talk about steeping let KBV steep and it gets even better. I smoked analogs for so long my taste is still not back, but when I vape KBV RY4 im like hey there is caramel and there is the vanilla and there is tobacco and I cant say that to the other RY4s I have tried.

When I first started I needed that extra flavor as well. Now I am in a place where I am not ordering extra flavor anymore because it has become too much. So going to agree with LT and Dspin on that point. I have also found in my experience that some juices do indeed get better with steeping. What steeping will NOT do in my opinion is make a bad juice good.

I am of the impatient sort and usually rip right in to my vape mail. I drip taste and can tell which juices I feel need time to sit. Not every juice from every vendor needs it (again, my experience). Most tobacco flavors, naturally extracted, etc do indeed improve with time. Steeping will make some floraly/perfumey tones disappear.

I'm glad you found some good juice Karla, that's all that really matters is you are off the analogs and on your way to a healthier you! Perhaps you can try the swaps for the juice you didn't care for in PIF section of the forums. Happy Vaping!

Cynder, I have to disagree with your statement that steeping will not make a "bad" juice good. I bought "kiwi" from a lowerish quality vendor 1 year ago, when I 1st tried vaping. I had been vaping for 3 months at that point, and I had run out of my chocolate covered banana. Well, while waiting for my kiwi I picked up smoking again. When the kiwi came, I found it was too thin. No matter how long I tried to vape it, it wasn't producing enough vapor or throat hit. So I went back to smoking. Fast forward a year, and here I am vaping again. (This time, for GOOD) I bought my kit from a mall kiosk. I was using the kiosk pre-filled cartos until I found the kiwi. I tried the kiwi, and BAM! It was amazing! I guess in the year of steeping, it had concentrated flavor-wise. It also produced huge plumes of vapor & great TH. It may have taken an entire year, but the low quality, low cost Chinese juice concentrated and became a great juice. :p

I do agree that steeping does help some juices actually most juices but all of my favorite juices were at least good right out of the mailbox. If they were not a strong enough flavor when I fist got them I've noticed even with steeping they still were not quite strong enough for me. Definitely a lot better but I still like the stronger ones. I can definitely see how the really strong and sweet flavors might make someone sick if they are too strong for them but I've always been a bit of a sweet tooth so I like them that way. Maybe after vaping a while I won't need my flavors to be as strong. I really hope that's the case because that would mean I would have a lot more vendors with weaker flavors to choose from. I have read quite a few posts from other newbies saying they thought a lot of the flavors from a lot of the vendors were very light on flavor. So that seems to be a pretty common issue among us noobs so there's a good chance it could be that we'll change, but for now I'm stickin' with my Extra flavor shots. LOL I'm just a little surprised that when I asked about vendors with stronger flavors NO ONE told me there are some vendors like KBV who are heavier on the flavor.Everyone just said it was my tastebuds etc. So happy I found them either way. I also have an order on the way from MRS. T's which I have also heard good things about. They don't offer a flavor shot but claim their juices are full of flavor without it. I hope so. Just takes forever to get an order from them. I ordered 5 days ago and they still haven't shipped yet so the anticipation is building.
