First order; I'm confused

This was my first order with V4L. I understand from reading other threads that the waffle cartomizers are a brown color. I received my order today and they were supposed to be 18 mg waffle. They are that color and maybe smell (very vaguely) of waffle but there is no waffle taste. It's almost like they are empty or the juice dried up? Has anyone ever had this happen? Is this a pretty decent flavor? I've tried many kinds of waffle juices but never V4L filled cartomizers. I also got peppermint cartomizers and I can sure smell those. However, I also ordered a bottle of WOW peppermint juice and the bottle was filled only to the top of white part of the label. Is that normal? Also, I keep reading about how everyone is getting a sample of this or that but there was no sample in my package. I would not know what to order next if anything if the flavors are that subtle or light. Very disappointed...
I tried this cartomizer after not vaping for hours and on a fresh battery so I don't know...

So glad to see you here Spring! I am sorry you are having trouble. The waffle shouldn't be dry..they are a brand new flavor!
The peppermint should be filled to the shouder of the bottle..the bottle holds more then 30mls so it isn't topped off.
I would put in a ticket right away. At least they get a heads up and you get an answer.
It makes me feel so bad seeing that I talked you into trying V4L!!!!
We should see a reply from the team in the A.M...it's late for those guys (but not for us niteowls!

Springfling I wish I could answer your question about the Waffle Cartomizers but I don't have personal experience with them. As for the bottle of juice, the bottles hold about 35 ml, so when filled with 30ml they are generally about a 1/2 inch under the cap. Additional cartomizers that are often thrown in with your orders are known as "bonus" cartomizers and are not samplers.

When I first joined V4L I thought the very same thing and mentioned once that I had not received any. I was not greeted with nice replies, let me tell you it was as if I pushed a "go" button for the Mean Team. You'll find on occasion you may not get some with your order and other times you get as many as 10.

Are you getting any vapor out of those Waffle Cartomizers, like you are getting from the wow peppermint?

As well, welcome to the forum....if it seems like you are not getting vapor from those cartomizers I might have a quick fix for you.

The Waffle cartos (for me mind you) are a light flavor that occurs more on the exhale. I get a lot more flavor exhaling through my nose too...and I should note that I exhale that one very slowly to maximize the flavor and aroma:). There is a difference in this one between the prefilled and the 30ml juice imo....there is more flavor with the juice, but for me it is still a light sweet buttery kinda flavor....reminds me of my dad's belgan waffles (I would eat them without syrup, but he sweetened the batter a bit). I also need to note that the juice, I just received it today and have not filled a carto with it....I ordered several flavors and wanted to try them all as soon as I pulled them out of the package so I taste tested them by dripping....so the results may change a bit when I fill a carto with it, but it should not be a drastic change in flavor. Now this is all for naught if you are not getting the vapor production you should be as Snow pointed out (he'll get ya fixed there:))

As for the bonuses....they don't do it all the time. I didn't get any till my 3rd order, but I love their stuff so much it wouldn't matter if I never got anything. If you are wanting to try different flavors hit up their sampler packs....my very first order consisted of nothing more than a starter kit and a whole bunch of sampler packs...oh and one thing of blank wow cartos to match my xl batts:)...oops and a matching drip tip....now I'm done:blush:

I really hope you can get things squared right...this is a really great company with great products...and OUTSTANDING customer service! And I agree with MK on the peppermint juice...if it is only filled to the top of the label and no further, contact the cs dept....

I have yet to try the cartomizers so I am no help there. However, I can tell you that the fill levels differ from bottle to bottle.

My last 5 bottles range from 4.25 centimeters to 5 centimeters.. yes, I dug out a ruler. The label placement also varies, so saying that the juice comes to the top can mean either a very full or not so full bottle.

I also have not gotten any bonuses with my past couple orders and it is a bummer.. Maybe they changed it where you either get a discount or you get bonus stuff? I dunno..

Back to the carto thing: Just email or give them a call. They will make it right. They are so incredibly nice and very eager to please (imo). On my last order, one of the bottles was wrong (they sent me the wrong str) and another bottle didn't taste right to me. Most vendors would have just said 'too bad so sad' about me not liking the one juice and would have required me to send back the other juice before giving me a credit. But not V4L! Minutes after I hung up the phone I had an email with a $25 gift certificate code. Amazing Customer Service, in my opinion!

First off, welcome springfling!

I am so sorry you are having problems. I am unclear as what is causing the problems with the waffle carts...they are a fairly popular flavor. Is it possible they aren't getting good connection I wonder. The folks around here are very helpful and there is a video up in the stickies concerning nonperforming carts.

Bottom line is that we want you to be happy! If you can't get it figured out here..please open a customer service ticket and we will replace them no problem.

I've been ordering regularly from V4L since I started vaping. I sometimes get samples and other times not. Yes, it's kinda disappointing to not get any as there are a few things that I would never have considered without them, but the service and products have been so absolutely outstanding, that it doesn't prevent me from ordering from them.

Also, they have been almost extrasensory when it comes to some subs they have done when out of something I ordered... for example, I ordered the tobacco sampler pack a few weeks ago and they were out. They substituted it with a pack of Wowbacco which is now one of my regular and daily vapes...

Overall, V4L is one of the best companies I have found on the net for my vaping supplies...

Welcome spring fling. I ordered French vanilla ice cream and they taste like licorice. I am not sure what to do about that!! I love the bonuses as well and feel like it is their way of saying "thank you" and it takes the sting out of the 6.95 shipping. They are not in every order but when they are, it is super exciting!

Thank you all so much for responding! Now that I know that the bottle is larger than 30ml, that explains why it was not totally full. I think something is wrong with the waffle. I don't think it's my tastebuds this time <g> I think maybe they are empty ones that got mixed up in the box. I really like strong flavors, though. Lmaiuri, I like licorice but that would be a surprise if you were expecting ice cream!! I will need to get some advice on which flavors are really strong. Thanks again for the welcome. The peppermint is very good.
Hi again Mary Kay! You were instrumental in helping me get started here. I'm sure I just need to give myself time to get the hang of what's going to work for me.

OK Spring..here is what we are going to try before you toss the waffle. look at the thread end of the carto..you will see a hole, the flat area around the hole is really a resessed post. take a sewing needle or pin and GENTLY insert in the hole a tiny bit and lift..just a smidge..go in a circle and lift so the post rises evenly. If this doesn't work try the same thing with your battery.
let me know if the draw improves. Sometimes in the facotry the posts get pushed down or are left too high..pushing the opossing one down.
If this doesn't work just copy this... support.vapor4life.com ....and tell them the problem. Wader has already read this thread (he works for V4L).

Springfling....they are not empties...the posts on them are just set a little too low. To fix this situation all you need to do is raise the post on your battery. This won't damage your battery or void your warranty.

It extremely easy to do and only takes seconds....
