I got my Volt three days ago and I love it. I was doing great and not craving analogs too much then, yesterday, I got to craving a real cig badly. It wasn't until later that I figured out that I bought 12mg juice and when I refilled the cartomizers, I wasn't getting nearly enough nic. Ha, ha, my bad There is definitely a learning curve on this e cig adventure. Still, I am loving vaping.

I had already gone back to SI to buy some 24mg Ry4 e liquid. I really think that I would be vaping full time if I was getting enough nicotine. The 18mg cut me back considerably on the analogs.

Of course, while I was there I ordered a 650 battery with the pass through cord. And a five pack of prefilled Ry4 cartos. Can't wait to get my order!

When I started I needed 24mg strength too.
I've now reduced that to 18.

Yeah - In the beginning, you'll need a higher nic level - at least from time to time.

My first batch I took 18mg but that was high for me. (Moderate smoker - 10-12cig a day for 7-8 years) Now I am down to 12mg. But I have recently realised that it might not be the nic level, TH was just more for me. SO trying out other options as well.

Welcome to the world of Volt! I started with 18mg but, after almost two months now, have moved down to 12mg. It does take some time and trial and error work, but it's well worth the effort. Keep on vaping!

You can also mix nic levels to get something in between. Mix 1/2 12mg and 1/2 18 mg, and you get 15 etc.

You're so right on the nicotine. I started with 12mg, and I'm down to mostly 6mg, but I still have a few 18mg cartos on hand for those really stressful days.

Welcome Renolizzie, you're gonna love that 650 X2 especially in pass through mode. I keep one of my 1300s plugged in all the time when I'm home. If you didn't get the 1.5 amp household charger do so asap if you try to use the 650 in passthrough mode with your computer usb port it won't work, not enough amps and you might fry your computer. If you get the household charger you will find the 650 will work better than you can Imagine, much more vapor than when unplugged.

I think you are doing great. I'm at 12 mg, have been for a while and I like it. I did 18mg for quite a while. I tried 12mg as an experiment and have stayed there. You just know what does it for you.
