On a mech 1.8 dual is probably too high. I do 1.4 or so in a single, or two 1.4 coils for .7 ohms net.
Not sure if the vv4 can push 1.8 dual, but I imagine it could as many manufacture heads are dual from 1.6-2.2 these days (if memory serves, I don't use them, so I don't know! Lol)

yeah i had both my coils at 3 to net 1.5 and it was just too much for the itaste vv3. not enough watts but what you gonna do the coil i have at 1.88 is making some good clouds with great flavor so I'm happy but i know it could be better. also my buddy is really sick so i didn't meet up with him so i will save some money probably for a vv vw mod I'm thinking sigelei 50w v2 however the 100w is 10$ more but also i would need to get another battery( really 2 sets) so I'm just gonna play around fro a bit and see what i like.
Personally, I'm happy with my 30w mod. It's plenty of power for my builds. At the end of the month the eleaf iStick 2 and mvp 3 will be out with 30w versions for probably under $40. That may be something to consider... Personally I think the dual 18650 mods are a bit big.. Not very pocket friendly, but I don't usually go below .5 ohm builds. 30w mods usually allow down to .6 ohms.
I'm sticking with my Reo, but others my have some recommendations, post a new thread and people will shop for you
