First rebuild attempt

This was my first shot for my Igo-W. Used the wick and wire supplied. Came out to 3.1 ohms. What do you think? Should be ok for use on SVD? Would double coil be better? Whats the best way to anneal wire. Have a bunch of 30 awg Kanthal I pick up at B&M. Thanks all comments, critiques, help much appreciated.

3.1 Ohms should fire on an SVD but you may have to crank up the volts a bit. On the bright side the actual coil does look nice.

Hey bro, if you can stand to watch a video, this should answer all your questions bro. Good looking build, but you can increase the performance in all three key areas while raising your resistance with these micro coils. They are EXTREMELY easy to make

only thing i would say is drop a couple wraps. bring it down to 4 or 5 it will lower the resistance to around 2 ish and bring the response time when pressing the button up a little.

Looks pretty good to me! If you do put an additional coil, make sure it is close in resistance to your other coil. That way, you will get around 1.5-1.6 ohms.

The 30 gauge Kanthal should get you a lower resistance. You will be surprised at how much easier wrapping a coil around a silica or cotton wick gets! I can do it in under 5 minutes now.

Thanks Thrasher I will give that a shot. Jazzi mike it is getting a little easier every time. Not a rba expert yet but some day I hope to be as good as you guys building them.
