Attempting my first coil wrap with 2mm silica wick and 32 gauge kanthal on a Phoenix Big Bully. I have made three different coils varying from 5 to 7 wraps and each coil tests at .07 ohm everytime on three different devices. Im looking to get around 1.8 ohms. Any thoughts on what I may be doing wrong?

Maybe your coils are tiny. I usually double or triple up on 3mm silica. My, latest coil is a cotton wick 3mm diameter but stacked so I have 4 3mm cotton wicks

At .07 it sounds like you have a short somewhere, make sure the wire isn't touching anything but the posts.

either a short (most likely) or the wire is mislabeled. make sure the leads wrapped around the screws dont touch the coil or the sides of the atty.
also make sure the coil isnt touching the posts or the cap, sometimes pulling the leads around the posts we can make the center of the coil touch the posts causing the coil to read much lower.

On a Svd, Vamo V2 and a Itaste v3.

I was wraping around a single wick but when I added 3 more wicks I instantly got the results I wanted. Thank you guys for you input, it is deeply appreciated. The only issue I had besides that was I felt as if I was having to make too many wraps for 32g. Unless of course it was mislabled as another user stated. Higher the gauge higher the resistance right?

Yep. I am using 30ga now in my gennies and drippers. 3/2 with 30ga gets me right where I want to be; .9 to 1.0 ohm.

I like 28 Awg at .7ohms. On a single strand if 3mm wick 1 wrap equals .1 ohm. Doubled/folded over wick is .7 ohms with 5 wraps.
