Hi everyone!
i have had my Reo Grand for around 2 weeks. It has been awesome. I have been using a 1.2 ohm coil for a few days, no issues. I was using the grand tonight, and didn't notice any significant dropoff in vapor. Next thing I know, I feel a slight release in the device, and the coil had collapsed. I know from reading the forum that his means there was a short. It had been working fine moments before.
I know now it is possible the battery was weak, and I kept vaping. I didn't notice anything, but maybe I wasn't paying attention. I had also just taken quite a few consecutive vapes, very quickly. I don't know why I did, I was zoning out win Jimmy Fallon a bit, haha. Could that have overheated the battery? I have the Reo Grand vv too (thanks Harley), and the RM2 is working fine on it, without any alterations.
Any advice would be awesome. Is it ok to just re-stretch the coil, will it still work? Is the battery now garbage, I am charging it now and it seems fine, but want to make sure that it's not dangerous. Thanks!
