After reading the threads for days (maybe weeks) broke down and order my first one today. Funny, this morning I put in some "notify me" on a few of the blemished thinking it would be awhile before one became available. Low and behold -- 3 of the ones on my "list" popped up this afternoon. That had to be an omen. :D Go the Grand and plan on kicking it at some point.

I have a VMOD and really like it - my main device to take to work. Figure the Reo would be the next step up.

Now I just have to find and rba for it. I have done rba's, re-wicked vivi's with cotton and recently playing with Genesis styles so I know how. Trick will be settling on one. I may try one with ceramic, never done NR build before. I did order some NR today just in case. I hae 32g, 30g, and 28g on hand (lots of it). I just need to find a decent video or instructions.

Anyway, thanks for all the info on the forum. Really helpful in figuring it out.

Congrats new kid. A RM2 RBA from REO would be a solid choice for an RBA. It is not only one of the best RBAs you can buy, it runs on regular wire and is fairly inexpensive. Welcome :)

I almost ordered one of the RM2's. I'm still working through the sticky post of the Reo compatible RBA's and trying to decide. I have some empire mods atties I like to can use in the mean time. It was the ability of using RBA's that really drew me to the REO. It's one of the limitations of the VMOD.

A copper vein blem? That has got to be a real steal for ya. Congrats in getting one of those, I'm sure it'll serve you well. Like superx says, the reomizer 2 is a safe bet. Its a heckuva buy and would make your vape awesome. Lots of posts here to set one of them up and help is a click away. Welcome to REOland!!!

Folks, my Reo showed up today. Very nice PV hits like a truck compared to the Vmod. It is taking some time go get it working right. Are there any hints on on keeping the atty filled with liquid? The instructions say to squeeze gently until some liquid shows up in the catch cup. I cannot get any liquid to show up in the catch cup unless I turn in on its side when I squeeze and then it floods like crazy. Maybe the bottle just need to get broken in and soften up?

I can usually get 1, maybe 2 hits off of it then it goes burnt. Then it takes several tries to get it to feed more liquid. I'm using a new Empire Mods 1.5 ohm atty on it which may be a little too low - seams burnt and the atty . I use the same atty on my Vmod so with no regulation it should be similar. The ebarron may show up tomorrow (its very close by the tracking) so I cannot try that. However, I'd like to get the feed working with a plain atty before I try it . My liquid is 50/50.

The button on/off also seems like a hair trigger. It shuts off with just the slightest turn and I fine it is off every couple of times I use it. It may be something I just have to get used to.

I just need to to work the kinks out I hope. It did take awhile with the Vmod. Thanks!

Most of us here use the blind squonk method with our attys. Draw without firing and squonk. Use a firm amount of pressure on the bottle. You should hear a gurgle and feel a little resistance as the juice fills the atty. Stop squonking. Then fire and vape. I started out watching for juice in the cup and that just did not work for me. I would flood the atty or end up with a dry burnt hit.

The 1.5 ohm atty is what I choose to run on my Grands. It is by no means to to low.

The button does turn very easy. I just got use to giving it a slight turn to on as I pressed it. Now that is just habit.

Let us know if you need more suggestions!

I don't know if this is happening, but every now and then I'll have a little problem with squonking. I unscrew the bottle then screw it back on....not too tightly. I think air gets in where it's not supposed to or something....anyway, that's a quick fix to try. I usually noticed it when I first filled a bottle. I don't know what it is, but that's how I get it "pumping" right.

Also, like nerak said....the blind squonk works.

The button will either tighten up a little when it gets a little more gunky :))).....or, if it really drives you crazy, there's a way you can get rid of the lock function altogether and it'll never happen again. Give it a day or two then come back and ask again if it's a problem.

Growing pains....there's a slight learning curve to get everything just perfect. But it's worth it.

Congrats your in for a treat.

If I had a nickel for everyone that "planned on kicking a Grand" :)

Don't get me wrong it works but you will discover its not needed ... especially with an RBA.

Plus you take all the mech mod durability and throw it out the window with a janky circuit board that will fail .....
