BINGO! It was that simple :) Thanks everyone.

Most of us here use the blind squonk method with our attys. Draw without firing and squonk. Use a firm amount of pressure on the bottle. You should hear a gurgle and feel a little resistance as the juice fills the atty. Stop squonking. Then fire and vape. I started out watching for juice in the cup and that just did not work for me. I would flood the atty or end up with a dry burnt hit.

The 1.5 ohm atty is what I choose to run on my Grands. It is by no means to to low.

The button does turn very easy. I just got use to giving it a slight turn to on as I pressed it. Now that is just habit.

Let us know if you need more suggestions!

I am really getting to like this baby! Now that I have the squonking down it is hitting like a champ. I am surprised how much better it hits than the VMOD. Same atty, same battery, etc. but hits much better with a cleaner flavor. It is more awkward than the Vmod to squonk. I wonder what it would look like in silver vein......

Now if that rba would just show up!

Freckle requested pics so here are some rough ones.

Nor can i! However in the 4th pic up from the bottom i see it photographed against the battery i need!

Great pics of that copper btw - most pics of that make it look rather dull and unappealing - so wtg!

T

The copper is really hard to capture. I had to do some color adjustments on it to get it close. It is a really rich color, even a bit darker than it looks in the pictures. The coating is excellent. The texture of it makes it easier to grip and overall just feels good in my hand.

I did find the "blemish" -- it is not in the pictures but it does not really bother me.

You just wait....... :)

Not sure I need to tell you...but you were right. I was surprised but the center post was crooked and I had to gently adjust it. Since it was the center post I don't think it could have happened during shipping but you never know. Very pleased. I think the coil needs to be lower ohms for me but that is an easy fix.

On an unkicked Grand, I like my coils about 1.2 - 1.4 ohms. I don't know what gauge wire you're using, but I can get that by using 32 gauge Kanthal and wrapping about 5-6 coils around my little "eyeglasses" screwdriver. Then I thread some cotton ball cotton through it and, heaven! What wicking material are you using? You like it?

I have tried a few different wick materials - silica, cotton and bamboo. Bamboo left a flavor I did not care for. Cotton does give the best flavor but it does not last very long. I use cotton yarn, never tired cotton balls or gauze. With the yarn I can wrap the yarn directly using a pin as a "spacer" and remove the pin when I am done.

Not sure what I will try with the eBaron. I got 5 extra heads so I am set for awhile. I need get some silica in 2mm for it - might try the eckowool - heard good things about it.
