First Tank Setup For a Noob?

Your glass(Pyrex) tank would be a lot safer if you go to your local hardware store and get some o-rings to to stretch on the outside, might not help for a 4ft drop, but you never know. I broke mine(unprotected) from a 4ft drop and I am waiting for a replacement from IBTANKED($5), that I think will work.

for the price of a carto tank now i would say just do some research on how to use them an go from there.

I first had an ego T kit with information about e-cigarrette nearly zero. It's hard to find a good kit here, and almost no infomation, while the press (I live in South East Asia) launch many doubful questions about the advantage of e-cigarrette. So I just bought and it was good with catty. Then I went to Vision Cleartomizer from Green House and it was better, worked for 2 weeks and died. Then Dual Coil Cartomizer and those cartos were awesome, but lifespan are just 2 to 3 days normally.

I need a good lifespan one, because it's no easy to buy good e-cigarrette products here. Must order online with somewhat expensive derlivery cost, and wait for at least 1 week. So I'm very careful reading posts from this forum daily to make a good decision, and now I'm waiting for my packet from Health Cabin, includes Vivi Nova V3 and Vision Cleartomizer V3 (changable coil) and 2 VV ego twist and many many stuff (flavour, eliquid ect..) to make sure that I can survive in the war against analog.

I hope those will work well.
