Not sure where this goes ..
Soo .. I've had my Velocity & eVic Vt for months, but never tried TC on it with Ni200 or Ti1.
I built a 28ga Ni200 coil: 3mm ID, 11/10 wraps, comes to 0.14 ohms, I got her all wicked (KGD) & saturated. When I started out at 450*F @ 45 w .. I wasn't getting much vapor or flavor, it was a very very cool vape. I upped it to 490*F, vapor production was better, flavor was somewhat better.
Maybe I am getting used TC and the different vape it produces, but I seem to coughing upon the first vape. But now that I've been vaping it abit more, as I am typing this post .. I am not coughing any more.
But when I drip/paint on more ejuice .. the first few vape or two, I start to cough. I still am not getting great vapor production, and flavor is still kinda .. meh.
If I go higher to like 540*F, I get better vapor, but still the flavor is meh. What am I missing, or doing wrong? I don't want to go any higher, for the fear of a dry hit .. because doesn't KGD cotton singe at 450*F and higher?
