hey guys,

i'm not a smoker normally, but i do very much enjoy the occasional cig and i think i could have fun mix and matching the flavours that e-cigs can provide, along with not smelling like smoke the next morning.

i've tried reading some threads to figure out what kind of thing i want but honestly theres SO much information and things i dont understand floating around here i really dont know where to start, so i thought i'd just post and see where it takes me (sorry if this happens all the time >.<)

so as i said earlier i'm not a smoker (and hopefully still won't be after this). price isn't a huge concern to me as i'd like to get a pretty high quality vape(i think thats what i'm supposed to call it? :p). preferably one that has a bunch of different flavours i can buy for it

from what i've gathered i think i'd be better off with a manual one as my work requires me to be out in fairly strong winds often so i don't want an automatic one going off in my pocket. but really, i'm pretty clueless.

so can anyone suggest a high quality e-cig for me and anything else i might need to get started? also could you please tell me/link me to a reputable online store that sells said product(s)? there's so many different stores i really don't know which to choose from

thanks for your time :) sorry for the long post :p

Fist, the flavors you can get for your pv are not exclusive to the device itself. You can get any flavor you want for any device that you have, so range of flavor should not be a factor when choosing with device to buy.

Also, most vendors only sell a small range of devices, so what site you went to would be determined by what device you decided to buy.

I recommend the 510, it is what I have and I love it. If you set on the 510, cignot.com carries them and you will find excellent reviews on this company all over these forums.

smoking ecigs outside is a different beast.if your moving around alot-they will leak.if its windy you definately do not want auto batteries.it took me 2 mnths of trial and error to get my pv to work good and sometimes it doesnt even then, but i like my pvs and im going to figure this out.good luck with your purchase.:)

sorry for bump after i kinda let the thread die, trying not to sound like a snob here so i apologize if this comes off wrong, but if i was looking to spend more would anyone have a suggestion for a more high end ecig? i'd be taking this to parties etc so i'd like a cool one that can impress as well as be practical :p

also with the leaking, if i had it in my pocket while doing work (i work on ships, sometimes involves handling ropes etc, physical labour), is there anything i can do to stop this? i'd probably be using a small case so i didn't accidentally break it in my pocket

As a long time smoker I would love to trade places with you. Throw away those additive analogs before it I to late. Plenty of 0 nicotine flavors to try and enjoy. Every supplier I have used Cignot, MadVapes, Rocky Mountain, and Pure Smoker have given me great service.

Right now I am getting tons of vapor from a Joye 510 and “On Top” juice both from Cignot. The On Top is a cherry flavor, from cignot's Basic juce line, it is very good. I see in 0 nic some of their flavers only come in larger sizes. I’m sure if you ask they can send out smaller samples.

Check youtube for videos on refilling cartridges (search e-cig) and give it a shot. For a casual smoker an e-cig with 0 nic would defiantly be better the playing Russian Roulette and becoming addicted to nicotine. With a fresh battery and the right juice (I recommend VG) you get lots of thick vapor, and giant smoke rings.

While I have no personal experience with either, I've done a lot of reading on this and other forums and seen nothing but good things said about both the Chuck and Screwdriver. They are comparably priced at about $75 without batteries or atomizers.

The Chuck is a bit more versatile, since it can be used with a single 3.7v battery or two 3V batteries for high voltage vaping. It's also built like a frigging tank. The down side is that they are hand-made, so there is a waiting list to get one. If you want a custom design/color, the wait is even longer.

The screwdriver is not as rugged or versatile, but it still works very well from everything I've read. It also looks very slick, and you can order one today and have it shipped out immediately.

As I said, I don't own either of these devices. But from trolling this forum for a while, it seems that the majority of people who end up with mods tend to end up with one of these, and they tend to be really happy with them.
