First Time Buying Wire. Is Highly Priced Wires Really Worth It?

I've used Temco for Ti, Kanthal, Ni200, and now just use SS316L. Temco wire is always clean and the coils I make come out to right what Steam Engine says it should be. No complaints with Temco.

I have 2 twisted 32 gauge wires and I'm trying to wrap 1 32 gauge wire around it, I don't have enough hands and the lowest speed turns the drill to fast. I'm trying to make a foot switch with a speed control for the drill, after I get it finished I can see if it will work.
