First time DIY ejuice

Just made four base flavors yesterday 10ml each at 1.5% nic. Custard, Vanilla, Cheesecake, and Strawberry. Took two hours as first timer being very thorough, accurate, and safe. Glad I got the dreadnaught because an rda is perfect for trying a mix of flavors. Found the cheesecake to be a basic base as the reviews said. Added some strawberry and it was much better. A even mix of strawberry/vanilla/cheesecake made for some awesome strawberry cheesecake. This is straight from creation to rda so I can only assume the flavors will stand out after a week or so with proper method. Remember I'm basically 90% VG as the flavorings are set in PG. I did 10% on the flavor for each. Don't know what it is either but the wizardlabs nicotine feels different than what my local shop supplies. Hit me like a brick at 1.5% with a better enjoyable feeling. Maybe just because it's fresh or mindset of being a DIY, LOL! I LIKE IT!!! Now I'm debating mixing the three 10ml into a 30ml for the end result.

So back to my question. Right now I'm storing everything in fridge. Flavor concentrates, 100% VG, and 10% Nic/VG solution. Will they last or should I consider freezing? Is thaw/refreeze multiple times an option? Need input from the pro's. Thanks you guys.

Didn't really touch the custard 10ml only a few quick drips on the RDA. Decided to up flavor to 20% and wow what a difference. The flavor is much more present. Guess a VG mix requires 20% flavoring or maybe even more? All I know right now is DIY ejuice equals the best stuff I've used. The lab created nicotine in a fresh form is easily felt, and feels better than what shops supply IMO! The vapor amount with my VG mix is more than the max VG mix I was getting through shop. Without coloring added the organic cotton wick I'm using for a day is pure white, and not burnt!

I freeze my surplus nic and I know people that do keep their flavorings in the fridge but I don't because it does not bother me. When I first began I did the whole precise measurements and everything but after doing it for almost a year......I have gotten pretty lazy and I just add concentrated or gourmet flavoring drops from Vaping Zone to my unflavored nic juice. I like the freshness myself but mostly the convenience. Lots of wonderful DIY threads on ecf and I am sure someone will come along and help you with your question. I freeze my extra nic too, but not the rest of it. I just keep my flavorings and juices in boxes in a cabinet. The juices I'm using can be in plastic because it's easier to use the dropper tops. I mix in amber glass bottles and let them steep in them too, because it's easier to add ingredients. I think we probably all over-think this stuff though, lol.

As long as you're having fun and enjoying what you make, you're doing it right!

Hello and welcome to the world of DIY . Sounds like you took all precautions and came out with some vapable juice. That's a plus for a first timer using more than one flavor. I'm with the others as to how I keep my liquids. I freeze my extra nicotine and just keep my flavors in a caddy out of direct sunlight. I've had no loss of flavor from them in doing it this way.

Thanks you guys. I guess in reality and not my OCD mind preservation of the concentrated nicotine solution is of main concern. I will kept everything in the fridge for now. Just loaned out two vials of my creation to fellow co-worker's as of today. Ready to make some new stuff at 20% to really let the flavor show through. There's two flavors I haven't even touched. In my mind VG not being the best flavor carrier requires 20% flavoring. My remake and new make of flavors will be at that percent. Excited to see what the other flavors do as my custard up was a huge success IMO! As a side note forget cigs I can barely take a drag off one now. Ecig at the correct setup makes cig users want to switch over with good reason, LOL! Had a cig user today say, "You just got more smoke (meaning vapor) in one puff than my entire cig will make". Damn straight!
