you guys know I am a big VB fan; my favorite juice.

I had an order almost $100. in my favorite juices arrive at my P.O. in an empty first class package.

I order first class usually to save on postage of course, quite a few times now, and i trust the VB folks to watch my back.

I may have made the mistake of not asking for Priority for the extra $ this time...?

I don't know, but i did just email VB with my horror story...

you gotta know how bummed i am; i had to also wait a couple extra days for christmas holiday closing of p.o.

This is big... it's only money, it's only ... VAPOR BOMB !? not vapor bomb... i love this juice.

I hope ... that's all i can say...

Kudos to VaporBomb for handling this with class . I know vendors that act differently and it really reflects poorly on them.

If you had to guess, ukeman, from the visual evidence:

Would you say the contents were stolen by someone with the PO or that the package became undone and contents spilled and lost during transit?

While it is nice saving money, especially when you go over the free shipping threshold, I was a little surprised that their first class method of posting was not so robust packaging wise (envelope) and figured this would happen more than once. I know it's cheaper shipping with less packing but is it cheaper than replacing the few that go missing out of the envelope or those that end up torn/mishandled, cracked into a juicy mess more than it is just beefing up the packing with plastic sleeves, more padding and tape? But if they are willing to reship packages this happens to, then it's all good. I just wonder which way is cheaper in the long run for Vapor Bomb themselves.

Here's an idea...instead of giving free shipping to everybody, charge everybody $4.95 flat rate unless they go over the current free shipping limit, and if they do, then subtract $3.95 from the shipping. That would effectively be very close to what happens now, except forcing everyone to get the more secure/faster shipping but still giving back that $3.95 at the threshold as is currently done. I know I'd go for that. I worry about juice orders that just come in envelopes. You'd be surprised how many bottles fit in a small priority box inside plastic zip lock sleeves with packing as popcorn or tiny bits of foam or shredded packing peanuts/other material....biodegradable of course. Just my $.02

yes siouxsie, and on the other hand, from the buyer's view, not having to pay $5 when ordering a couple samplers and a 10 mil i.e., is a consideration.

if you look at it, it's just $1. more. so buyer beware; take care of your stuff.

VB, does need to be concerned even though in my case, they didn't have to resend. Their policy states that once it leaves their hands, it's all between you and the shipper (usps).

From now on, i will get a large enough order to justify priority shipping.

Because of potential regulation (including by usps), get your supplies while you can....

it's all in good faith now... hehehe....

Got my shipping notice this morning... VB have always been the fastest service too.

You said they had though. Almost every vendor has this policy to protect them from those that have stuff go missing or destroyed more often than the norm. Not resending in good faith can cost a customer. Now if it happens again, then it's split 50/50 or all on you

From now on, i will get a large enough order to justify priority shipping.

Going by your first paragraph there...Is there that much of a leap between $4.95 and $3.95 ordering a few items? And all that extra dollar is doing here, in this vendor's case, is getting your first class envelope into a flat rate priority envelope, which is a bit sturdier but still not a box, no additional tape or packing material other that the envelope itself being bubble wrap. Bubble wrap paper tears very easily when caught up in handsy employees or equipment. All you are really getting is an extra day earlier and an extra layer of think cardboard envelope. Perhaps vendors should offer insurance and some do or perhaps they are not allowed to by law.

I stand by the need for something more than a bubble wrap envelope to send these first class parcels in. I will continue to get the Priority for the extra $1.

What is the coming MF DOOM legislation that shall cause us to start hoarding? Having to answer postal employee questions about this package containing nicotine containing substances? They can't seize at the border so now they're gonna go after inter-state commerce? I'm just guessing, what is the holy terror about to befall us?

"holy terror" thus the "hehehe"....

it's all about the luxury of having a somewhat healthier vice imo. i just love it.. makes life more better (i know, preaching to the choir).

i guess you got it clearly defined here and that's where it's at.

I'm just happy to be here.
