I do not know why but I am really nervous.

I have:
30ml of pluid
3oml of MMAO
wife has about 15 each of 710 and Maha Ras.

I have 4 tanks, 2 carto and 2 bottom feeders (protank style).

She will probably take 2 cartos and 1 bottom feeder.

I have 2 back up atto's and 1 back up cartomizer.

I have my Provari (2 batteries and charger) and 3 ego's.

She has her Vamo (2 batteries and charger) and 2 ego's. Charger for the ego's.

I think I think I have everything but I am still scared!!!

Just threw in 15ml of Jamaican Me crazy 18mg just in case.:blink::blink:

Never worry about overkill, take what makes you FEEL GOOD. Looks like a good setup to me. Here is what I take to work currently, subject to change.

When I used EGO type batteries I would bring 2 1300 mAh egos, 2 clearomizers, charging cables, pass-thru, and a shaving cream sized jug of juice.

These days I just bring 2 mech mods with full tanks, 2 spare 18650 batteries and about 50-90ml of juice.

I think in the beginning I was afraid that if I ran out of juice or battery power I would resort to buying analog.

I think you are on to something. I am recovering from a rocky wagon ride. (fell of slightly went from 0 analogs to about 2 a day) I just know how easy it will be to go back deep if ANYthing fails me.

For me it was more a matter of finding what rig felt right for me, in order to replace the analogs without too much desire to light up another one. It was an uphill battle, and went from tiny 510-Ts to EGO to mech and Protanks before I was able to quit completely. A process that took roughly a year and a half. The whole time I was smoking analogs and vaping, with the thought process that every time I was vaping it was one less analog I was firing up.

There was also the learning curve of getting my comfortable style of vaping down. I was a snap inhaler with analogs - draw into my mouth then inhale the smoke, and I smoked menthols for over 20 years. Vaping I do completely different, deep lung hits, and as I still prefer the bite of menthol I tend to vape my DIY juice with a strong bite to it, wintergreen and spearmint, kolada, honeysuckle, dragonfruit and menthol crystals dissolved in vodka, with the odd bit of chocolate and/or English tobacco flavors mixed in as well. It took months of experimenting to get the flavor I vape exactly the way I like it, and it is all I use now. Friends who smoke analogs, when they get brave enough to try my everyday vape, tell me it is amazingly strong to them and they don't see how I can handle it, but it was what I personally was looking for in order to get off the analogs.

That was the hardest part of getting off analogs and going strictly e-cig - the right strength, taste and amount of vapor for my own personal comfort, and I had to go thru several levels of hardware and learn all about DIY juice in order to get to the point I am at now. I wanted peace of mind in the battery department so I went strictly 18650. I also had experiences with my EGO batteries coming apart and having to re-solder the wires, so I chose to go the mechanical mod route. I do have a Vamo V2, which I use mainly for an ohm meter even though I do mess with it and my RSST with a DIY ceramic wick in my spare time. It doesn't leave the house though and is more something to tinker with than a grab and go daily vape. I am guessing you went Provari for a combination of it's reputation for reliability and because of all the posts you saw where the owners said it was hands down the best you could buy, and that sounded like the best thing that could get you off the analogs if anything could. If it works for you, then use it. If there is still that little something missing that keeps you lighting up an analog, then maybe there is a small factor still missing, in the juice or coil system end of things. No one can figure out what works for you but you.

Good luck with it and we are all here to help each other stay off the analogs.

Vape on!

I would think about how long you are going to be on your trip. I dont know if you are flying or driving.

I took a 3 day trip almost 2 weeks ago. We drove the car about 100 miles north of home. We stayed in a hotel for 2 nights.
My list of what I took on my trip. Funny how it worked out though.

3 itaste VV 3 batteries
3 mini kanger protank2
3 ego 1100 vv batteries
3 mini plastic protanks
Chargers for each type of battery
90 mil of eliquid 3 different flavors of 30 ml bottles (30ml of eliquid was more than enough)
I traveled by car so the itaste VV3 could be a pass thru

I most likely could have gotten through it with the 3 itaste VV3 and all the tanks I brought.
The extra tanks were nice I used them for the 2 new flavors I bought

*Bonus*
Before I left I looked up any shops in the area I was going to visit.
I found a nice Vape shop. I bought 2 30 mil bottles of eliquid I am still using now.
DH picked up a great tank he loves for his SVD.
I will need to order more of those tanks from that shop for his birthday now.

Hubby took his SVD 4 batteries, a cheap charger and various larger tanks. Extra eliquid but I am unsure how much.

Enjoy your trip!

Reporting back after returning home.

Had everything in my carry on except all the juice. Put the two tanks we were using in a plastic bag to get through security. No problem at all getting through security in San Antonio.

Trip went fine except we realized that we did not bring any more of my wife's ADV. Miscommunication on our part on what juice she wanted but she lived.

Realized I brought WAY too much juice but oh well.

Probably could have lived without all the batteries but we were never without.

Leaving Phoenix was another story at the check point.

Scanner found something suspicious in my wife's purse. Took forever for them to search it only to realize it was an ego battery and let her pass. Stopped me as well. This time they just simply asked me what my provari was I gave them the simple "e-cig" answer and that was that.

Enjoyed my e-cig in the airport bathroom and in the bathroom in the plane without any problems.

All in all a successful first trip. Learned a few things (take a high mg juice for long stints of not being able to vape at will) and hope to make the next trip better.
