Well, yesterday I got brave and pulled out my PureSmoker black pen style with the blue light in my eye doctor's waiting room. Felt like a virgin - kinda scared, kinda excited. I asked the receptionist if it was OK if I used it. She said she didn't care. I explained what it was. (Gotta ask Cash for some business cards.) The others in the waiting area showed some interest. I got different reactions. The receptionist thought it was cool and wanted to know where I got it so she could tell her sister-in-law about it. A young couple commented "that's so cool!" and the geezer sitting next to me got up and moved to the chair on the other side of his wife and they started whispering! That was my "first time" y'all and don't you feel honored I shared something so personal with you.;)

Nice, I am gonna show it to my new internist next week. I bought my first one from a bar/resteraunt owner who quit smoking and was trying to maintain smoking clientel. This was over 6 months ago, and up until a week ago friday, I used it very little. Since then, I have become OBSESSED, and have smoked less than 3 packs in 10 daze. That friday, I had smoked 5 packs(badass day) but a blessing cause, now I LOVE this.

I use this everywhere I go, and have only been asked to curtail in 2 places, in a deposition, and at a silly bar.

The first time I whipped it out in public.......wait, wrong forum.

I got yelled at during a Rangers (baseball) game the other day using mine. Unfortunately, it was by an older woman who apparently hasn't heard about advances in technology, like electricity, the light bulb, trains, etc. I tried to explain, but she wasn't having any part of this new fangled whatchamacallit. "It smokes, go to the smoking area."

Certain people just don`t want to accept smoking as a whole. I was vaping outside our local shop eariler today while my wife done the weekly shop (I got off lightly, cant handle the supermarket on a Sunday!) and still people were walking past me coughing and eyeballing me. Reallying felt like taking a big drag and stubbing my e-cig out on my tounge just to see the reaction  . At the end of the day I just don`t want to stand there justifying myself! Can`t wait for the reaction where the Ruyan throwaway turns up!

Hi Sir and well come
You will find that it's not just non-smokers. It can be real smokers to that smirk or get funny looks at you to.
A few weeks ago I was in a club where we been to a relative's funeral first and followed on to the club for a drink and something to eat afterwards. I was there in the club E smoking away happily. A lot of people didn't really take much notice nor did the barman till I showed him the device and then he didn't really understand but thought it was a good idea though and let me carry on smoking away.

But there was the real smokers outside in the smoking area smoking away I went out to them saying why don't you get one of these and looked at me like I was from outer space and smirked away.

The funny thing is a lot of these were relatives and obviously knew me anyway but all would like to try this but they just can't be bothered in spending the money to try it.

But to be honest I've got mine out in PC World, Currys, Comet, and several other places where smoking is not permitted usually but when I have done this its never entered my mind there is no smoking in here. I just tend to do it without any thoughts at all I just pull it out of my pocket as if I'd got a packet of sweets.

But I think because I use a pen style it doesn't make this look as obvious which I do think this helps especially if it's black.

When I went to the Rangers game not too long ago I had mine and no comments from the peanut gallery whatsoever. I did get a few looks, but that's when I took it apart, mock inspected it, then put it back together.

The best taboo place I've vaped was at the cinema, watching The Dark Knight. I felt DANGEROUS!!

Sir Puffalot - love your name BTW. I now know what it feels like when some people get all uppity and don't like you using your e-cig. I wanted to smack that older couple upside the head! I wanted to tell them "Don't you realize what a miracle this is?" And dammit "You can't smell anything either, no matter what you think - you snooty old geezers!" Wait, I'm 51, oh noooo, I'm a geezer too - or is that term used only to describe men? I must be an old biddy! Never. I never act my age!

lol , 51 ain`t old Janet , in our local pubs and clubs there a guy who goes out every week with out fail , he`s probably about 83 now and a bit of a local celebrity. He drinks us young "whippersnappers" (his words, not mine) under the table and is the last one to leave the dance floor. At 32 I`m feeling past my prime , so there`s no hope for me!!!!:D

Thanks BigBux, I stand corrected. I can't smell any tobacco smoke odor in my house anymore. I really thought it was just water vapor we were exhaling, so I thought there was no smell (except for my breath maybe ). Oh and Sir, wish I could meet this 83 yr old character and see him dance! I just love older folks that still get out and have fun, especially with us young whippersnappers!

On the train platform and on the train itself was my first public trial. I later went on to use it on the London underground and the tube, vaping away quite happliy. No questions, no denials. No problem so far. I have used it in 3 pubs, one of which I spend every working lunchtime in vaping away a goodin, as I used to smoke at least 3 rolls ups on a 1 hour lunch break in order to relax after my sandwiches...

A great one I did for my colleagues outside my office was to take a deep breath of vapour with my super, that looks like a cigarette. I put the "lit" end against my nose quickly after drawing and whilst keeping the cigarette end on my nose I blew it out into the air. Kind of generated shock and amazement, and made them laugh when they realise the end is not hot or lit at all  I got all the smokers to try mine out for the first time, and got through about 4 filters that day! ha ha.:thumb:

LOL Cyberdude I like that trick! I keep a spare cart on me for wannabee e-smokers.

You vaped ON The tube?8-o No one attacked you?
Did anyone ask what it was? Or did they all just bury their heads further into their papers? lol.

I vaped at Waterloo station - no probs infact one of the top security blokes there made me laugh - I asked permission:oops: & he was almost convincing me to do it!:D I did it on the platforms too, but got some killer looks which made me lose my nerve to try it on the train. I managed two wee puffs into my shirt but I felt a bit odd about that. Next time maybe....:p

I had a good taxi ride vaping away & the driver was fascinated...we pulled up next to a police car & he was like 'go on vape - lets see what the police do, wind em up !!' I primed hard and then puffed the cab out. Being somewhat sad, even I was dead chuffed with my volume. The policeman looked at me then looked away - sheesh all the effort for nothing!

LoL :D

I vaped on the train but sat away from people and I'm using my black mini with blue LED, to be on the safe side. Will do the same when I'm vaping at the con hotel thisweekend, just to make it obvious that I'm not smoking a real ciggy. But I'll bring my white mini and penstyle too, plus plenty of spare carts!
