First time working with Gplat?

As the title says, I've never used Gplat before- only Kanthal. I have some 22g Gplat red coming and am wondering how much less the resistance is. I'd also like some build ideas for a Tobh Atty v2.5. I'll be going for a fogger in the 0.1-0.15 ohm range (running dual VTC5's in parallel).

Why would you not find the basics out before spending that kinda cash on wire?! Lol TOBH builds.. depends on what you want.. flavor? Vapor? I vape all day at or below your posted targets and I get reasonable flavor, and monstrous clouds of vapor! I say go with what you already like and/or know, then adjust accordingly.
Me; I prefer parallels. Parallel anything.. micro, macro, nano.. parallel. .

I have been having difficulty getting a straight answer on how much more conductive gplat is. Yes it's pricey stuff compared to Kanthal. But considering I only use about 8" per build (including waste), even at $1/foot it's costing me about $0.67/build. I can fade that.

Edit- When I said I was going for a fogger I meant going for vapor.

Actually now that I think about it, I may be using closer to 10"-12" per build. Still no matter.

Makes sense now! Yeah, I've had difficulty getting any answers regarding exactly how the iteo wick works; i.e. flavor change, vast difference in vapor production, etc. So I know the boat in which you sail there. Lol
Anywho, honestly, there's not much better a way to determine other than try yourself really. Foot for foot, ohm test gplat against kanthal, Nichrome, etc. I would!

I wouldn't chop your leads until you find the desired resistance. if your leads are longer when you trap it, you can easily add a wrap or two to your coil, or remove a wrap or two.

I'm curious about the use of a wire, where the manufacturer/distributor refuses to disclose its composition, isn't anyone concerned here?

BTW, do you really believe a name like 'Vapnology' is really a wire manufacturer? Your kidding me, right? Do you have an idea what the infrastructure startup costs would be for wire manufacture? Do you think a vaping wire company can support that?
Temco is a wire manufacturing company, that was selling kanthol & nichrome wire well before anyone was vaping it

And chances are they worked out a deal with the manufacturer to make a proprietary blend for them. Grimmgreen is a respected member of the vaping community. I have no reason to not believe his statement.

For a factory that manufactures wire to change the metal content in it's wire is easily doable by them. Their customers (like Vapinology) can specify things like metal content, gauge, casings, conductivity, etc.. What you are saying would be like saying Starbucks can only make decaf coffee in a small.

I find it funny that nobody mentions the fact that there is iron in kanthal and nichome60
Not to mention attys with copper, brass, gold in contact with juice which all these metals can cause health problems being ingested like heavy metal poisoning.
And then there is the tons of toxins in the cigs most of us used to smoke.
Or all the pollution being pumped into our air/water that alone makes any argument moot IMO
