Hi pinkpirate. If this is you maiden voyage on the vaporship...... Yes give that flavor some time to rest and re-visit it after a few weeks of vaping something that suits you right now. It may be better or it may be unuseable, for you personally. I have had experiences similar to this and more often than not the flavors(or my perception of them) seemed better than my initial imperssions.

Side note question.....The flavor in question wasn't Nport was it?

Nothing wrong with not liking a juice, perhaps it just needs to steep or you just don't like it. For me, the hardest part of switching from smoking to vaping was finding a juice that I could take more than 10 puffs before I had enough.

Congratulations on trying to vape, and good luck to you in finding a juice. There are lots of juice vendors out there a a ton of resources on this forum to help you out. Read some reviews and find a few to try out. It may take awhile to find it, but once you do you'll never look back.

Been there, done that. Except I'd probably like something that tastes like a tree.

If I have to describe it as "socks," I draw the line.

There's no harm, no foul in removing it from your clearto and cleaning it out to try something else. I've done it plenty of times myself, and have a pile of e-liquids sitting that are...just not to my liking. Socks.

Sometimes they age well and after a few weeks are downright tasty. Sometimes the socks flavor just beocmes richer and more sock-like.

Without a doubt you are going to find juice you don't like, some of the juices people rave about on here I can't stand I.e. Rye 4! My best advice is buy a lot of samples till you find ones that suit your taste, it is definitely hit and miss but don't count having a stinky as a failure, we have all been there!

wow I had that same taste with tribecca..(and lots of people love it). like burning wood or leaves. just chuck the carto and try another juice. Their tiki juice is my favorite from them

Yup, Halo was the first vendor I went with for juice and tribecca was the first I tried. Thought everything I tried it in was burnt, but nope, it was the juice. Midnight Apple sounded awesome, but to me at the time I tried it, I tasted perfume. I'm letting them sit and give my taste buds time to evolve and eventually go back to it.

Oops I hit send to soon. My point was what is the best way to try all these flavors. Use the clearo's and clean them or something else.
Depends what you have...a dripping atty is convenient to test out flavors, but you can also use clearos as well. Just drip a 2-3 drops directly into the wick/coil and that'll allow you to get 4-5 good vapes to try out the flavor. Once you're done just wash/rinse, dry, dry burn, and you're good to go.

I just tried putting the other liquid in the second clearo and it won't work at all. Not sure why

Did you dump the old liquid, rinse then fill with new liquid?

If thats the case then you will need to burn off the water thats trapped in the wicks before it will vape correctly(or at all in some cases). As long as you didnt damage the coil then it should still functiion. But only after the wick is no longer saturated with water.
