I have a bottle of Castle Long and 2 bottles of IV Castle Long Reserve, both are fine, my 5P flavor of choice is Grandmaster out of the ones I've tried.

Trouble is I waited two ears to try 5P, I say I like it and suddenly I'm a fanboy...

Grandmaster is good, it reminds me very much of Night Light Vapors Gold.

I like the stuff that being said most everything I vape is DIY but their mix room dosent look cheep by any means.
So if I was to order B and M I guess they give confidence that the ejuice is not mixed in a bathroom environment or some dingy warehouse
or who knows where or how

I've not specifically sought out 5 Pawns, but in my quest as a newish vaper to try many different flavors, I did pick up a lot of juice from our classifieds that included two flavors.

They are a year old and darker than the website shows, so not likely the best samples for first impressions. Then again, I paid much less than a buck per ml.

The first one, 64, my first impression was, "who would like this?" Then, strangely, it began growing on me and I have to say my first impression was misleading.

It's a grapefruit liquor, enhanced with lemon zest, cucumber, mint and dill. Not something I'd buy after reading that description. Nevertheless, I'm really starting to dig it.

There are a lot of sweet juices out there. I'm beginning to appreciate more savory creations and tastes that can be enjoyed without always being sweet.

The other flavor, Fifth Rank, I've not yet tried and it is equally odd in description, "A lively fusion that's reminiscent of the lost vintage drink known as the “Lime Rickey,” but with a substituted sweet champagne. The effervescent note of horehound herb is counterbalanced by a sweet cream, vanilla bean, roasted almond, and a twist of lime." (Phil Busardo slammed it and said, "It should remain lost and vintage"...)

If I enjoy it as much as the first, I may actually have to try a fresh one some day.

I'm more aligned with the tightwad crew here. My go to vapes are Juicemafia and more recently, Nicoticket. Still, it's good to cross the line occasionally, regardless of which philosophy you hold.

Try 'em all and decide from first hand experience instead of regurgitating the same old tired party line responses. Leave that to our inept politicians...

Having never heard of 5 Pawns or any "controversy" about them, 64 was an instant like for me ... Tastes very much like one of my favorite drinks -a Pimm's Cup. I didn't even blink at the price -just take my money already! ;) Ditto Grandmaster and Castle Long.

I don't understand why anyone would care that premium brands like 5 Pawns exist. Don't buy it if it's too expensive. Sometimes a company just gets things right and I think 5 Pawns is such a company and that makes it worth the price to me.

A local Vape shop temporarily had these out to sample before I knew anything about the price or their reputation. I vaped a few that sounded interesting and was blown away by Grandmaster and Gambit. However, I couldn't bring myself to purchase them once they told me the price. If I ever see it cheaper or luck out with a sale or coupon I will absolutely buy in bulk. Delicious stuff, just couldn't pull the trigger with my penny pinching upbringing

Nice list but not really an accurate 1:1 reference (and maybe not current, MS T's Bakery is listed).

Companies that specialize in cigalikes and starter kits, even reputable customer oriented companies like AltSmoke, are known for inflated e-liquid prices.
It is an older list, I just included it to show that at $.73 ml (if you subtract the free priority shipping) they really are not that unreasonable. In the past I have posted the link to a website that charges $50 for 10ml, making 5P the bargain of a lifetime. I just don't have the link right now.

I thought Mrs. T's was still scamming, folks are still complaining on the thread about it.
