Yeah I really think they changed the way they made this liquid about a year ago...I remember when 5P first started making juices this was the best thing Id ever tasted, it was my ADV, the buttery crust, seasoned apples, the vanille ice cream, every note was spot on. Then one time I remember buying a bottle and it tasted nothing like Gambit, that kind of alcohol like taste with no apple whatsoever. I stopped buying it so frequently. The bottle I have now was ok when I first got it, now that its steeped a few months its pretty good, but still the apple is really non existent in the mix.
I hate that now that Ive adopted Perpetual check as my ADV they decide to stop selling it at the end of the month

They mentioned in their thread that they changed (or tweaked) their formulas on some of their liquids, but didn't say which ones, and also said that (something to the effect of) people didn't notice. I did. I still like Gambit, but not remotely close to how I did when I first tried it. Occasionally there is a sour, off note and overall not as round-tasting as it was. That sour, off note strikes me as 100% the same as Hangsen's Ice Cream flavoring (just in case anyone wants to try and replicate this flavor for DIY). That flavoring is incredibly strong and needs to be handled with kid gloves.
I've tried a handful of their flavors and never cared for them.
Taste is subjective, but I've tried a few of the really hyped flavor vendors and I wonder how much of that hype is guerrilla marketing and/or I think there's a signature taste among flavor vendors. If you don't like that signature taste, you probably won't like 90% of their stuff. If you do like it, you'll probably like 90% of their stuff.
