Pretty sure I remember hearing that there was a bad batch of those mods that were phantom firing.....like firing on their own while sitting on a table. If my rda caught fire I think I'd contact the manufacturer to be safe. Maybe it was firing by itself and then u picked it up and hit it.....just a thought

Yes, from the specs. .. but did you ever wonder why this claim when each battery can only do 60 watts for a total of 120 watts? (On average)

The claim is that this mod can handle 110 watts more than those batteries will do...

Depending upon what they are doing in the Mod to either a) make that true or b) convince you it's true it can be downright dangerous.

So you have flaming going on.. might see a connection.

Welcome to ECF. ... glad you came and joined us.

Segelei has a reputation of over-rating their top wattage specs.

I have a Segelei Fuschai 213 Plus whose specs say top wattage is 213 watts with two batteries. When someone with the right equipment tested it, it could only do 155 watts. I didn't buy it for its alleged power. I knew from reviews that those specs were over-rated.

I don't think it's a matter of people not using them, they don't exist in reality, or at least not for very long.

I'm not entirely certain a mod can "do" 230 watts, even for a second. Really, at those types of wattages I am pretty certain that they "fire" whatever wattage they can, even if it's not the actual wattage. I think when actually tested, they rarely do it (I don't test out mods that way, so I'm not sure).

Also, using that wattage (highest wattage) over any time period is just asking for a problem, hopefully the mod just shuts off and eventually dies electronically, rather than a battery exploding.

There is a thread on here about "over-rated mods" and the general unsafety of them but I don't remember exactly what it is called....

... I wouldn't suggest 1500mAh batteries unless your joining a cloud comp lol. 120w is more then enough for crazy stapletons etc.
I agree. There is the matter of diminishing returns. All 30 amp continuous batteries have no more than 1500mah capacity. That means they last half as long on a charge as a 3000mah battery.

If you REALLY need a 30 amp battery to vape at the wattages you set, then be prepared to use twice the number of batteries per day.
