Sedge uses 110, but you can use higher. Changing how much mesh and the size of the ID of the best straw can all be changed to find your preferred level of juicerizing
I was using a really fine 50 but with thinner juices I was getting some slight flodding. The 110 at 8mm wide around a 1.2 mandrel seems perfect for anything I throw in it.
A bit confused about the # of mesh beign important.
I always was thinking, that the liquid transfers through the center hole, not as such along the mesh like it does in solid wick gennies.

I did not notice a difference in the 250 to 400 range but when I experimented with mesh below 200 I experienced a noticeable difference in juice transport.
Smallest way to vape a FEV, regulated.
Tobeco FEV v2 on istick50 next to zmax with CLT.
I've used 350 mesh straws. Working great now that its above 45f. I could have changed my mesh for winter but thinned the VG by 10% instead.

Balls, might need to tinker me build a bit, the old "some cotton through the spaced coil on top" doesn't work so well with the dripper, tends to get a bit dry since the liquid seeps through the wick.
Do I need to fill her up with cotton or maybe try a bigger coil (now 2.4 mm), which would mess my feeders.
Kinda want this to work in both modes.
Running her 1.4 ohms @ 20 watts.

I just recently got my first FeV and I am blown away!
I didn't have any mesh so I used some of the cotton cord. It worked flawlessly with 50/50 juice.
I really wanted to try my favorite juice in it but it's 80v/20p. I finished the 50/50 tank and decided to give it a go with the 80/20 on a rebuild. Initial wetting of the cord was pretty slow so I was getting a bit worried. Went ahead and filled it and closed it up.
To my surprise the cotton cord kept up its job feeding the wick. I was floored! That was vaping it with nickel at .08Ω, 480F and 28-30 watts. Incredible warm flavor!
I think I'll take some pix on my next rebuild and post them up in this thread.

I'm a little confused. Although they currently have none in stock for me to order the Tank Extension says that it increaes the capacity to 3.5ml. Don't they mean by 3.5ml?

Yes Jax. Translation issue. Increases by 3.5ml.
Glad to see you're having success with the Ortmann fiber. I don't doubt it in TP.

Just curious, sedge, where did you get the 1.2mm mandrel for wrapping the mesh? My google fu has been less than fruitful.

Unfortunately he is OOS. That's why it's listed at $99. Ebay sellers list items super high when OOS. Its easier than taking a listing down and then relisting. It was under $20.
I would PM the guy and ask him if he has the 1.0 to 3.0 set in 0.1 increments he can put together for you.

Hopefully they get back in stock soon, I ordered from that same guy and they came in a week ago, definitely nice having every single sized bit in between the ones I normally used, lol
Especially good for rolling mesh though, that's where having the smaller ones comes in super handy.
Ok, found a cheap set not in China. 0.7-1.4mm. That should do since I'm unlikely to actually drill with them.
Someone is sending me v3 and vs clones to try so hopefully those will help me to make a decision on which Flash e I want to buy. I bought the mesh last night.

They are out of the tank extension? Glad I snagged all the chimney and thank accessories when I ordered. I'm really excited to use the short airflow duct with the longer tank for a mini FeV (you ONLY use the longer tank, nothing else).
I need to go look those clones up and see if they come with different airflow screws. And of course I'm wondering if the authentic ones fit because if I don't like the airflow it will throw me off as to how much I may like or dislike the atty.
