$30.72-$33.65 Flash e-Vapor V2 Style 23.2mm Diameter 18650 Rebuildable Atomizer - Silver

FEV V2, but with a V3 base (no brass, wireless style)...rest looks like V2...full kit, with long and dripper mode.
Nice, all the good toys just keep getting released!

And that long drip tip....

Got my glass kit from FC and installed it on the v3 base. Looks much better. But how do I fill this? When I unscrew the top cap, the chimney wants to unscrew at the bottom (just above the bottom o-ring).

When you want to fill the tank, invert the FeV and unscrew the top cap and glass together as a unit. This will unscrew the chimney from the base cap. Fill, screw it back together, invert and enjoy!

You must have the chimney tight in the top cap to start with. I thought it was going to be a problem with the o-rings on the glass, but the tank turns very easily since it is lubricated by the juice.

Now we just need the extended top cap for the glass tank...

I love how small and compact the VS is, excellent flavor as well... I just need a mechanical that will make it more streamlined.

You come to realize how small it actually is after using the Big-Tank (Big-German Clone) for a while. :)

I like it, massive flavor and a nice thick dense vapor.

There are quite a few differences with the clone and the one that Todd reviewed. My view port in the top cap would weep a little juice, there were machine burrs between the window and the top cap. I cleaned those up and ran a micro bead of silicone on the center of the cross arms and around the center where there is no o-ring. There are burrs on the juice holes as well that I cleaned up with the Dremel, they didn't interfere with it's operation, I just don't like burrs.

The grub screws they give you to block off the second juice and air holes have a very sloppy tolerance, juice will leak down through them into the bottom section. If you install the second set of screws over top of the first you can take the play out of the threads and stop the leak.

The coil alignment notches are not cut exactly center on one side to use the coil tool provided. The DT is a odd size and not many will fit. I don't like the supplied one that much. Overlooking those minor things, I am still trying to get a build in it that works great. The first dual I built ran excellent but it goes through juice like it's nobody's business.

So I removed one of the coils and wicked it with Rayon, it flooded down into the bottom section. So I installed the double set of grub screws and wicked it a second time with KGD. I kept getting dry hits with this build and had to open the juice control up over halfway just to get it to sort of wick.

The deck will come out while the tank it full, very similar to the way the Rose works. I think there was too much KGD on the second build so I am going to try again with Rayon and more trimming.

Take a pass on the Hcigar clone (unless you want to tinker) and get an authentic. On it the machining looks to be 100% better, the window is gone from the top cap and the coil screws look actually usable. The ones on mine are smaller than Kayfun screw heads.

I will build this one so it vapes great without flooding or dry hits. ;)

Thanks, TD! I think that will work. I'll try it later after vaping most of tank. I'll make sure the chimney is super tight in the top cap before re-assembling.
edit: It worked a treat, as the Brits would say!

Mine had none of these issues, maybe some very minor burrs, and the small screw heads, though I had no issues at all with .26 gauge wire, haven't tried larger, After the single coil build I did dual .26 @ .6 ohms, it hits like a beast, I've also had no wicking/leaking issues at all, never did try dropping mesh in the holes, works pretty well without it. Wonder if I got lucky, or you got unlucky?

More on topic with this thread, my everyday tank has been the Flash VS, Love that little guy, but this morning it has officially been dethroned by the Taifun GSII Shenray clone, very close to the same build I use in my VS, and flavor is quite noticeably better. Speaking of Shenray, The Horizon Tank (similar to FEV) Focal has is on order, might be a bit of competition for my FEV 3.

Never heard of Shenray before the TGSII, but they did a great job on it.

I think I either got unlucky or just don't know how to wick the Big Tank but I'll post more in that thread.

The Taifun GSII is a want and that Horizon tank looks very interesting. I'll wait for your opinion after you get one. ;)

Did you order the Taifun GSII clone from Focal? I got in on the group buy, couldn't resist the $14, and was just wondering if it is the same as this Shenray clone you are speaking of.
