So I think that I may be flavor blind to my favorite juice, which is a melon blend.

Is there anyway to bring that back? Or am I just screwed?

That happens to all vapers at one time or another. I recommend vaping a different flavor or 2 for a few days. That should fix it. Good luck!

1) Drink Plenty of water or juice, juice side try some orange or grapefruit juice, the acidity of the citrus should cut any VG or other coating off your taste buds.
2) Surprisingly there are a couple palette cleansing flavors out there that will restore tastebuds. Most times you will find them as a fruit (generally tart like raspberry) with a spearmint, the sneaky palette cleanser is the 3rd, a Cucumber, the fruity sweetens or pops to mask Cucumber while the spearmint lightens and resfreshes. Another is hot cinnamon like red hots flavor.
3) Mints, mint gum, cinnamon gum or cinnamon mints/discs

all these people suggesting water..... my question, Why? What is more water going to do to increase ones capacity to improve taste?? And dont say it due to dehydration... PG/VG can only adsorb at best 40% of its volume in moisture...
so.... if one vapes 10 ml a day they could loose up to 4 ml of moisture ( about a teaspoon)...

fwiw,, i thought i had vapors tongue. but it instantly went away when i switched to rayon. i also switched from water to 'acid' tasting drinks,, mountain dew, monster citron even lemon juice water. and for good measure i make sure i vape at least 1 other flavor a couple times a day (with 'neat juice' in between refills)... i chain vape when i can and at night......no vapors tongue ever since. ---hopefully something i posted helps you out.

i have often wondered whether most commercial juices are so strongly flavoured that they max out the senses 100% when vaped for prolonged periods.
obviously we all know our sense of taste/smell was impaired by regular smoking and most needed that strong flavoured vape to start with.
these days i find very dilute flavours taste better and do not wear out the sensors.
so maybe experiment with diluting with unflavoured.
unflavoured with a hint of melon sounds quite refreshing:) [ i like Nets , and touch of liquorice in mine]

I'm thinking it's akin to how perfume stores have you smell coffee beans when you go nose blind after smelling so many scents.

Your mouth and nose and throat have layers of mucus and such that will grab and hold onto particles. So at some point you are over saturated and your senses nope out. There's just enough coating your senses aren't really receiving new data. Water will help wash some of that away.

HMMMmmmmm.....
My fave is also a melon blend and when this happens to me,apart from the usual advice of "drink-more-water- brush your tongue, use mouthwash, minty gum, even a drop of peppermint essential oil" ive also found that as an alternative Hot& spicy chicken wings work for me when all else has failed ;)

i tried all this water...mouthwash ect...didn't work for me seems like it wouldn't work unless you literally don't consume and liquid or brush your teeth daily...i suggest switching up flavors...personally get a menthol flavor and shell out some cash for a premium menthol something strong you will taste it for sure....if not get some koolada or w.e and throw a drop in your tank...either or those worked for me... i had "vapor's tongue" for a month and none of the stuff people recommended except a strong menthol flavor worked for me.
