just like the title says i am having flavor issues..i got an Ego 6 weeks ago

my small assortment of juice is all VG,,me an PG don't get along so well

bought some LR \ressurectors, smok dual coils and boge 2. carto's

got 6 fruit jices and one tobacco flavor,,all are 18mg strength

1 ressurectors,,flood fill it and i get 5-6 great hits then it starts burning {yuck}

2 boge does ok with with any of the juices ,but not what i expected..

3 smok dual coils,,decent flavor for tobacco and ok flavor on the fruity flavors

got any suggestion to improve the fruit flavor ??dripping is not a viable option for me

ordering some ry4 and don't wanna be disappointed with it

Stay away from dual coils and stick with 3.7 volts. Try a ce2 or 510. All liquids will taste different. There are hundreds of E-Liquid mixers and they all mix differently. Many products perform differently. The hotter it burns the worst it will taste. If you drip, remove the wicking material inside the atomizer to avoid most burning taste issues. I like using the ego with and dripping with an lr306 atomizer. (dewicked) And ce2' clearomizers do not taste bad but they do not last too long. Go with the cheap items until you get the hang of it. They work just fine.

Why some people say to stay away from them:

When they crack, like this, they leak fluid.

I prefer atties over cartos (I bought the CE2s for my wife); so, I can't offer you any advice specific to carto suggestions.

...are ya sure you filled the Resurrectors completely...they are tall and hold 2ml juice ...also, because of it's thickness, VG doesn't wick fast and needs time between vapes to wick up to the atty properly......

p.s. you might wanna try thinning the VG with a few drops of PGA or distilled water to get it wicking properly...I find tobacco flavors do well at LR levels(especially in the Resurrectors) and fruity/sweet flavs do better in the 2ohm or higher Boges..........mj

on the third attempt using the ressurector,,,did the condom method and then flooded,,let sit a good hour +

results still the same,,5-6 great hits and then burnt coil taste :(

A ce2 would most defiantly get broke in my pocket at work, not an option for me,,work the oilfields north slope Alaska

well i decided to give the ressurector a 4th try,,this time i used 100% VG tobacco juice

double condom fill and then flooded it,,let it sit 30 mins b4 hitting it

this time i hit it hard and fast,,wooooooow what a difference that made

guess the push button for 1-2 secs then draw on it like the smok dcc is the wrong method

side effect to learning this,,craving for the analogs went way down coz i am getting such a good hit,
better then an analog,,

I am still on my "quest" for the perfect set up however, after watching pbusardo's review on the eGo Mega Dual Coil 4 ML Cartomizer LR 1.5 Ohm from vapingzone.com, I tried them and have been pretty happy. You'd better like the juice you put in them though cause its not coming back out...easily anyway, and with 4 ml of juice, it lasts a long time. I made the mistake of putting some DIY juice in mine that tasted good initially but got so stinkin strong after steeping that now I can barely hit it w/o gagging. Had this been a tank or CE2, I could've drained it and adjusted the flavor.

I still want to try a tank at some point but not ready to take that plunge financially.
