So right now I am using a mech mod, Turtleship v2 with a patriot on it. Sony vtc (5?) battery. (The green one) 18650.

I have tried single coils, duel coils, sleeper coils, duel parallel coils, etc etc, and while I have gotten some great size out of the vape, I am sort of getting over trying to blow huge clouds, I want to try and get dense dense flavor, and not really sure what that takes. The type of flavor where it almost feels like there is some juice that got in your mouth because its so dense. As far as throat hit, I dont like it too hot, but I dont like a really airy hit that you cant feel on the inhale.

SO, after asking around a bit, people have mentioned to look at getting a VV box mod, and a PlumeVeil atty. Now I dont know much about it, If I am going to spend a few hundred bux on a set up, I want to make sure I get the right set up, cus I dont have a ton of different mods, the mod I have now is the one I have had for a long time and thats probably going to be the same with my next one. So I have a few questions about all the different components.

BOX MOD - I was looking at a HEXOHM, purely because I liked them on facebook and I see people post pics of them all the time, and the logo is SICK lol, Then my buddy mentioned the DNA 30, and I remember hearing something about how the 30 is the "new thing" as far as a good chip in it or whatever component makes a box mod work great. Other than that, I dont know what to look for as far as wattage range, etc etc.. All I know is I dont want it to be too big, I dont like the huge box mods, nor the tiny ones, A nice size one that can fit 2 of my vtc batteries in it, that fits well in your hand and is able to be comfortably pocketed is kinda right up my ally.

ATTY - OMG, I dont even know where to start, as far as the plumviel it seem like their "Reduced chamber?" is the way to go? As far as flavor is conserned, what should I be looking for?

Kanthol - Different gages, coils, amount of wraps, etc etc.. Should I be using a thicker gage? Thinner gage? I dunno.. I have been using 26g exclusivly since I started using my mod, and I just picked up some 28g, to try and make a twsted 28g duel coil set up and see how that goes.

So if you were looking for a box mod, that is well worth the money and being your daily user, along with an atty, and type of coil set up, and want to produce some SUPER FLAVORFUL dense vapor with just (Decent) sized clouds, and decent throat hit (not too hot) .... What would you consider?

I know this is a lot to ask, and I am sure people can send tons and tons of articles and write ups, but all the reading would make my head spin, so if you know of any youtube videos that sort of break some of this stuff down and would like to post it up for me to watch, that would be helpful also.

Thanks guys! Hopefully I can piece together a nice new set up to save up for and get myself as an xmas gift for myself :p

Thanks again!

PS. Any tips on a coil to try on the set up I have now to give some great flavor would be helpful, My duel parallel coil set up was pretty nice, it was 26g, 5 wrap sleeper set up.... Now I have some 28g (About 3 feet worth), Not sure what to do with it. Ideas welcome! - What if I did another duel parallel coil set up but did like 8-9 wraps instead of 4-5? what would adding more wraps do to the vape?

VV v.s. VW - Watts, Voltage - Anyone know of a youtube video that really breaks this down?

Im use to the days where you have VV, You put a carto on it, if you want a stronger hit, you turn up the voltage, if it starts to taste burnt, you down down the voltage.

So now with the wattage? Whats that about? Iv always been really confused with this.

Where do I learn about all of this?

Understanding Variable Voltage / Variable Wattage E-cigs

VV adjusts sets a voltage lets say you set it at 4.2 it stays at 4.2. You'll get a different vape as your resistance goes higher as your coils get older.

VW adjusts voltage to the desired Wattage output so as your coils rise in resistance the voltage automatically adjusts to get the same wattage you're set at.

so if you set a device at 15w it will stay at 15w regardless if your resistance rises and you'll get the same vape, where if you set your voltage to 4.2 you'll get a different vape as your coils get older.

First of all ditch the Patriot.
They can be modded for big clouds that's it.

Plume Veil is a great atty.
Great cloud production, good flavor, very easy to build.

If flavor is your main goal I'd say get a magma.

I run a single parallel in mine and there aren't many attys that come close for flavor. (A well built Kraken is very close)

I also love the flavor out of my magma. I run 24ga duals @ 0.35ohm w/ 7wraps and a 7/64''ID in mine and yes, sometimes I feel like I have juice down in my throat, but when I take off the drip tip to check its all just condensed vapor. I like these coils because they don't spit back on me with a vape that is warm but not hot, dense and flavorful with long slow pulls.

EDIT: I've been also looking at the Rogue RDA recently for its extremely reduced chamber and top airflow (supposedly leak-resistant) design. Not a whole lot of info on it though.

Im getting the best flavor vape to date from my dual super nano coils on a TOBH.

24g wire wrapped around something the size of a 22g wire. 10 wraps on a bed of cotton with a little cotton on top.( while leaving a little coil poking out.)

Riptrippers shows on a recent video. Better than his 28g around 28g. BTW its 2.5ohm.

I should add that I'm using a coil winder with it's included smallest gauge. Very easy to make a tight coil. Got it from 101vape.
