Would it be OK to start a thread which catalogs all the V4L flavor names against what they are thought to mimic? For example, we can pretty well guess what KAMEL is supposed to remind us of, but others are less obvious. Ideally, if V4L could tell us what they were thinking of when they arrived at a name, that would be great. So, I'll start with a guess as an example....

Aces & 8's : 4 Aces Pipe Tobacco Regular (red) 16 oz. Pack (though I've never tried that product, so its purely a guess.)

Feel free to kill or lock this thread if it places any business or person in jeopardy.

I'm only guessing, but I think although some flavors might have started out as mimicry, they would have gone on to make it simply taste good. I only say this because of a thread a week or so ago in which it was said that wow cowboy and premium cowboy are 2 totally different recipes. Well... and that I find premium cowboy great but nothing like the brand you'd think of :)

Some things just don't translate into "Vape". Grape for instance is more Nehi then grape juice. Doc Pepper to me tastes like root beer barrels (candy). I love them both but they aren't what you would expect. Others have different tastes and think Doc Pepper is more like "store brand" Dr. Pepper rather then The real thing.
I have yet to vape anything that tastes like an analog smokes. Maybe because we are not getting any smoke but vapor and that we are smelling rather then Tasting our vapes.
