Flavor pairing: eLiquid and craft beer

I, for one, am a fan of flavors such as: hazelnut, mocha, etc. And while delicious with a cup of coffee, and even a good dark beer, these kinds of flavors definitely do not compliment a good IPA or a refreshing summer wheat ale. Are there any other beer geeks out there, and if so, what flavors have you found are best to pair with a good craft brew?

I'm a big IPA and Scotch lover, but I've yet to find anything that pairs well with them.
The closest I've found out of the juices I have that is the most tolerable was 5P GrandMaster.
The more simple a juice is the better it is with alcohol, complex juices fall apart and taste nothing like they should.
I'd say a cinnamon, mint or menthol may work best is a theory of mine, But I dislike those so I'm stuck myself.

if you're going to do IPAs or APAs, i try to go off of the hop's notes. tropical flavors for west coast ipas, citrus/lemon for the more piney side of things. i have found 5pwns perpetual check to go great with pilsners, as you can really taste the barley aspect of that juice, going along nicely with the pilsner malt. Stouts/black ales are easiest, as you can't really go wrong with anything dark, cocoa-y, roasty, or candied red fruit(y). An all time classic of mine will forever be Fuzion vapor's black cavendish, with north coast brewing's old rasputin russian imperial stout. Roastyness and dark dried plums come at you like a spider monkey.

With some of the more potent IPAs, citrus would be a great pairing, especially grapefruit (if even possible.) While I don't do lots of the strong-flavored IPAs, (I'm a PTC tester in the extreme) I absolutely love sours. A citrus could enhance some of the bubbles, but a tiny bit of sweetness could offset the super-sour of the combination. Most belgian whites I love would go well with fruits, especially peaches and berries, but without too much sweet.

Right now, I'm imagining Zombie Dust by Three Floyds. I need to try it again sometime soon. Sadly, I'm not near the east coast, I'm in the upper midwest. That and Cisco's Whale's Tale Pale Ale would definitely benefit from a smoother vape to not overpower the beautiful crispness of the two. Something creamy without being overly sweet? Ideas?

In this house, we enjoy our alcoholic beverages. We've been collecting scotches lately and since they go well with cigars and spiced cigarettes, I'll definitely enjoy experimenting with those. Lagavulin 12 is my favorite, period. 16's incredible, but 12 is my standard (and it's a bit less expensive.) I could see it going well with a clove, a spiced vanilla, something creamy and spiced. Islay scotch plus vapes. Husband and I NEED to have a scotch night soon to test this theory. He's more of a cigar guy, and still smokes cigars (but doesn't inhale, thankfully,) but I'm sure he'll want to play with the flavors with me.

Now THAT sounds like something worthwhile. Old Rasputin is quite a kicker, I'm not sure I'd be able to have nicotine with it if I didn't want to end up on the floor. Russian Imperial Stouts, in general, are just amazing.

Enjoying some Poseidon with this bad boy. It counter balances it well but almost don't want to vape with this unicorn. FYI I did drink it out of the can minus that little bit to see this beer I've hunted for months lol. Lived up to the hype to me

Doesn't it, though? Don't think you read the can properly, though. ;) Husband was a bit snobby about that, I just wanted to ingest the deliciousness however I was able. It's harder to share a can of a beer we're both thoroughly enjoying. It can become a battle of wills for who gets to hold the can, therefore getting more thorough drinking action. As it was a spur purchase as husband was travelling in the area, I fear I won't get more again. I put it next to Zombie Dust and Ballast Point's Sculpin for best craft straight from the container.

I found that Vermillion River's Kentucky tobacco blends are quite set for sipping bourbon or scotch. Their vanilla blend is absolutely perfect for me and husband to drink scotch with. The bourbon blend (Kentucky Blend No 7) is quite potent and tasty, but the vanilla kept me more interested. Their KY4 was decently blended, but not quite great for me.

As far as malt liquor beverages, I enjoyed Vermillion River's Melon Burst with some Peach Bellini Smirnoff Ice. Florida Citrus Explosion also goes well with Smirnoff Triple Black. It's all about matching it all up, even with "girl beers." :vapor:

Edited because: Redundancy is redundant.
