I totally dislike flavor shots. I know some like to customize but if I've never tried the juice, how do I know how many shots I need? Aren't the mixers supposed to just make a good juice and sell it? So if I guess the wrong amount of shots and don't like it, I won't buy it anymore. Done deal for me. Lol. Just saying....plus if I do like it I will never remember how many shots it was. I'm so glad I DIY.

Who made the final decision the juice was weak and tasteless? You?
What if I find the juice to be perfect at the house suggested (default) levels? Is my oppinion then invalid?

So what everyone is saying is that if I order from a vender that does not offer any options with maybe the exception of nic. level and I find their juice to not have enough taste that I should then move-on to a different vender?

But if you come back that I should just order additonal bottle/s of concentrated juice, isn't that pretty much the same thing as requesting additional flavor shots? Do I want to pay for an entire bottle of additional flavor, or would I rather pay for a little additional flavor (at a little price)?

Now lets add-in different PG/VG levels. Won't changes in those change the flavor as well? If thats the case, people who may have issues with PG will be even more limited with who they can order fromif they can't make flavor adjustments without the need of ordering at least two bottles to get the correct flavor for one juice.

Options are NOT bad. If you can't make a decision if being offered options, then ASK someone from there, or even from here.

I can't stand it when someone feels they know what's best for me. We all are different and like different things.

I'm out of this thread!

I agree - I'm also confused because I thought a majority of vendors offered this option as I don't just use it at one. I do like a LOT of flavor so the option is one I prefer, so that's why I shop at certain vendors. Just don't shop at those vendors and it's all good! I have a ton of bottles to give away from other vendors because they didn't offer flavor shots and there is just not enough flavor for me.

All that being said, though, I have started buying flavorings of my favorites so I can tweak them myself as I go. Somedays I add lots of drops, some days just one. That's just how I roll....uh, vape..... :vapor:

I agree that options are good... but not at the cost of ruining a juice... it may not perform correctly...
One of my favorite vendors... BWB understands this... he always told me that squirting extra flavor in wasn't as easy as it sounds.

Sometimes I'd ask him to make something stronger or weaker... or more this or that... he'd do it... but he'd always sample it before it left his place... and he'd let me know when it worked or didn't work...

All I'd like to see is a caveat by the flavor shot addition... or some commentary from the vendor assuring me that it's still the same juice in every way, just more intense favor... and any disadvantages if applicable.

I admire the way PURESMOKER does the flavor shots... they sell them separately in 10 ml bottles... mixed and well steeped... and they provide recommendations for adding the flavor... and how it could change the flavor profile of the juice etc.

Ummm. The point is: IF the juice is flavored to appeal to the majority of the customers, extra flavor shots should only be needed by extreme flavor "junkies." Part of the recipe and price is mixing the blend that is pleasing to 99% of people, not to make the WEAKEST blend and then charge for extra flavor. That is akin to ordering coffee water and charging for stronger coffee. Just make the darn coffee (or whatever) the way it is supposed to taste for 99% of your clients.

It is disingenuous to charge a low price for weak, tasteless juice and then charge extra to make it taste like something.

this is exactly what I mean. . I simply want someone that has a good flavor by default without the need to get all complicated with extra shots.

Yeah, I agree wholeheartedly. If I go to a vendor's site for the first time and see options for sweetener, extra flavor, fussing with the pg/vg ratio, menthol/no-menthol, etc, I'm backing away and turning off the light on the way out. I'm not going to order a juice 30 times until I finally make it right. YOU make it right, I'll try it, and if I like it, cool, and if I don't, cool.

And don't get me started on the whole "Well, if you don't like it when you get it, put it in a dark drawer for eight days with the cap off, shaking gently every afternoon at 2:00..."

HAHA Exactly. I want something easy to order, it gets to my house and I can vape it that day. End of story. I think extra options are cool and all but it shouldn't be 'required'.

Yup that's what I'm talking about. You need to go through the 30-60 reviews and try gauge from other peoples comments what will work for you... and it's always a toss-up.. I have a bunch of bottles that are either under flavored or over - so now I need to order more of the same with different variations!? gimme a break. this is way too much of a hassle and waste of money.

Ok, ya'll admit it, now. Haven't you vaped some juice that 100 people love, but it's just missing something, some small something that if you could just add it that would be the perfect juice for you?

These vendors are giving us a chance to micro-manage their product. It would drive me insane but it's not my business, it's theirs. I bought a bunch of flavors AT THE STANDARD STRENGTH with no added shots of this or that, and I didn't find ONE of them to be "weak" or "underflavored" although not all of them were to my taste. Some I would not order again. But, that's what trial and error is about, right?
