Also, you will definitely burn through juice faster than with the clearomizers, so don't be surprised when it happens.

That's one of the reasons for trying lucky 7 cheap enough to burn through way more juice ;) Right now I'm around 3-5ml or so but who knows with the kayfun what that will turn into;)

Well this morning I was going to post for advice on how many wraps of what size kanthal in 28ga to get a 1.8ohm setup. This afternoon I got in the wire in and took a minute and tore down my existing stock build. Wrapped the wire on a base of a drill bit(can't think of the size right now but I think it was one up from 5/64 from memory) was reading 10 wraps most places, but knowing I wanted to get a bit higher resistance I went with 12 wraps and came out at 1.7ohm's. Wicked it with cotton and got it down on the build deck with a simple style of build I'd seen and man does this thing throw vapor compared to the stock setup. Flavor still on the fence slightly but it could very well be the build, I'd say it's good, but not great. Running strawberry juice in it at the moment, and strangely I can taste it more clearly in the CE4 still, but it might be allot of things. It really hits like a train now on the nic level though 12mg is enough to tell me it's too much after a couple hits. So I'm going to have to order up some lower mg juice with my next order since I really am enjoying the vapor I'm getting but man does it hit.

Now that I've got a simple build I'm curious to see how some of the others work out;) Going to need to get more kayfuns to play with some other builds on, so it begins again;)

Oh and I exposed a distant family member to vaping, beyond disposables. He stopped by and I lent him my old Ego and a ce4 with coffee in high nic on it to see if it works better than cigars for him, so far he seems to really like it. However he also got to see my other stuff like this new kayfun and I don't see him not getting an MVP and kayfun before long;)

Well I figured I'd throw out another update if someone finds this searching or something. Like was mentioned above the kayfun is coming into its own now about a tank through it, much better flavor hard to describe but like most equipment changes it's different than anything else I have. Much more vapor, looser draw and different technique to get the most out of it. Hit's harder than I expected nic level wise, definitely going to be dropping my nic level to half what I was running at 12mg. Enough so that right now I'm running my iClear for when I just want to vape more without getting too much nicotine;) I'm running 18mg in the iClear and can more less chain vape, the kayfun a few hits and I've got to put it down for at least a few minutes. So much more efficient, consumption hasn't gone through the roof because I can't stay on it very long, with lower juice I'm sure it will. Flavor is good/great, but different with this coil, I think I'll play with some other coil options and whatnot to see how they effect the end results I'm satisfied with what I'm running but curious how other styles will work for me as well. So once I finish this tank I'll pop some new build in there and give it a shot.

Overall I'd say it's money well spent, very good setup but does need some fiddling to get just right. Home built coils utterly destroy the stock coils that come with it, but I'm glad I had something to try it with before my wire got here. So at least there is that, but I'm glad I made the jump, now I need a dripping atomizer, and several more kayfun's so I can swap juice flavors easier;)

Take care and thanks again for all the help.

Luke
