No science doesn't MAKE people agree on a particular subject, it proposes a hypothesis, performs research, and presents it's findings for peer review and validation.
None of which you have presented here.
Just understanding basic chemistry doesn't cut it--and so far it appears that is all you understand.

What to do?

FIll two of the same tanks with a flavored and non flavored and vape 1000 hits from both and see how the wicks are doing?

Read back and you will see I used "deadly" loosley and simply to grab attention and make a point. The flavor additives are just added toxins and impurities. I aleady showed the example that dose is the only characteristic that makes any compound harmful.
The real point, which can not be argued, is that flavor additives destroy the wick and coil system faster than non flavored.

you know how you're coming across to me? it sounds like you're basically ...... that an eliquid killed your coils but you've decided to natter on about a whole lot of unproven nonsense. my best advice to you? breathe in, breath out, move on.

Somewhere out there
As a chemistry noob, can I ask a question to all of you well-informed vapers ?

As it been proven/determined that some flavors are/can be detrimental to one's heath when breathing its vapor because of the chenicals produced and released into the vapor when vaporizing those flavors ?

Proven? Not as far as I know. But do a search on diacetyl, that and some related chemicals are strongly suspect for vaping and proven hazards in high concentration industrial food prep use.

Nah too difficult for you, given your past experience handling the complexities of wicking material.

I'd suggest continuing your amateur mental and verbal dodgeball games..

Or simply going back to excerpting entire passages from real scientists' works and attempting to pass them off as your own, Doc Simpson;)

I would suggest you go to your massive e fluid collection and fill up one of your advanced pv devices with one of your favorite flavors and telll us what you think.

lilvapie i would like to know what vape equipment and what juice you have been buying? you might be buying your supplies in a gas station for all we know.:toast:

Great fallacy. Prime example of marketing exceeding science. If you think the name brand matters, you have much to learn. It is all about the ingredients in the product.

The flavor additives cause coils to go faster, what science do you have to go against that? None.

i have been vaping for a year and never had a coil become useless from the flavoring. after several tankfuls pull out old wick dry burn the coil insert new wick and vape some more. i have never had a coil fail. just like Sienfeld a thread about nothing.

Vape on ultra member with a whole line up of flavored e liquids and all kinds of cool devices, vape on.

Again, I am not trying to change any "pros" minds like yourself.

I bet you have so many cool mods, so many different e liquids, look around..........Do you have a cool box to put all your stuff in?

I am not the droid you're looking for.move along.

Got to post #80 and gave up.

This is ridiculous, how is this thread still open?

The very title of this thread is an insult. #68, #66, #28, #18, insults, insults, insults.

Perhaps it begins past post #80, but all I see is bickering, insults, and tons of claims from both sides with little to no evidence provided.

One article does not proof make.

I agree with the peeps saying to do your own thing without insulting everyone who isn't doing what they do in the same post.

I like flavors, I like menthol, I like vaping...but at the end of the day, all it boils down to is I'm putting more weird .... in my body for the sake of a vice/addiction/fixation/hobby...sooo...yeah. Stick whatever you want into whatever you bought/built, but don't crucify other people or invent things and talk down to people who vape differently than you... Unless they're those kids who try to build their own mods and end up making pipe bombs. Thems the bad people.
